He is currently going through treatment of Demodex and doing amazing.🙏🏼He has made several pup friends at his foster home and is definitely super friendly!❤️ Squish looks very lab in the face but everything else is that of a Dachshund from his log body and very short stubby legs. Sophia is such an amazing happy, healthy, crazy girl. She first came into rescue a little over a year ago with a very bad skin issue, didn’t want to be touched and would nip anytime we got near her face, feet or back. It took months for her skin to clear up and hair to grow back. Her foster( now her forever dad) was absolutely amazing and did whatever it took to help her. He spent countless hours working with her at her pace to be able to let her know and feel love. To many times we see and work through issues with dogs not knowing what real love and a loving touch is. We are so happy to have been part of her journey. She was once a set of lost Paws but will forever be Unforgettable!🥰❤️

Happy 4th to everyone and all the fur babies. Just a reminder please keep your four legged friends close. Playing some white noise to drown out some of the fireworks help. Make sure you get them plenty of exercise before the sun sets and the fireworks start. We hope everyone stays safe and enjoys the day.
We have no idea how we are going to make this work with no space and limited funds but we couldn’t stand by and let these babies suffer. This brindle puppy is current at the ER vet being seen for an upper respiratory issue. 😞
She is NOT in good shape 💔 Blood test came back below 10% (closer to the 5% range). The idea of euthanasia is still on the table depending on how quickly we can get her immune system in a better place. She needs a blood transfusion as soon as possible to be given even a slight chance at survival.

We have pulled nearly 10 dogs from Putnam County Animal Services within the past two weeks. This shelter is over capacity by at least 50 dogs. This number continues to grow every day that they are open. 😭
We are a small rescue with limited resources and cannot save them all no matter how much we want to and NEED to.
We need help.
Putnam County Animal Services needs help. The dogs in this video have been in this shelter for almost a year if not more. They are in outdoor kennels in this summer heat. They are in this little kennel for majority of the day rain or shine.
This is not the life these animals deserve.
