Reflecting on Dakota's journey from the delicate moments captured in April 2023 to the spirit-filled July, we're in awe of her resilience. She battles a unique health challenge that disrupts nutrient absorption, further complicated by an infection. But we've found glimmers of hope.
Incorporating Triple Crown's rice bran, Seminole Wellness's senior mix, and digestible alfalfa cubes into Dakota's diet has proven to be our guiding light. This refined diet, alongside her usual hay, is strengthening her day by day. Dakota's weight gain is a small but powerful testament to her indomitable spirit.
Age has marked Dakota, approaching 30 with only 8 teeth left, but she'll never lose her spark. Each tiny leap in her progress is our sweet victory song.
