Well the last lady from our original crew Snowwhite died in our arms tonight. She was almost 8 and didn’t lay any longer. She was a white Americana. I will miss her

No lie, this is going to hurt our family and business because we shop there and now will have to find other suppliers. Thank goodness for Spikes.

Tractor Supply Co. this is just so disappointing and just gross. I can't imagine the hell you are putting your staff and customers through knowing that our beloved Tractor Supply is just a front for hate. Sad day.

Good morning peeps!

Let’s talk turkey- again!

Heritage breed is the turkey you want to raise to keep. They will lay eggs and live long lives.

Bbb and b*w are meat birds. Short lives and meant for the freezer.

Please remember this when you go to feed stores today and do not spontaneously get turkey poults.

This is one of my pet peeves about stores,
They don’t tell you the difference and newbys don’t realize the difference.

Poults need hot and dry longer than chicks. High protein feed for 10ish weeks then start dropping protein. They will seasonally lay at about a year old, need space and lots of water and feed.

I happen to raise red bourbons, my hens are bearded and I have some available!
