What a week for the BVF team during the last HITS Chicago horse show! All of our team rode so well!
Maren Stuart was champion in the Amateur owner 3’3 on Worth the Wait, and won the classic!
Lainey Waldron. and her pony Milo were stellar winning multiple red ribbons including one in the classic round!
Avery Avedisian brought back her mount Peti Ami in the Low children hunters finishing champion of the division, and also having consistent rounds with her new mount Better in blue earning a 3rd in the last round!
Emma Brosius stepped up to the 3’6 small junior hunter having good rounds with her 6 yo super star Carasco Z, and earning a 🥈
In the horsemanship medal.
Iris Perlioni also moved up to the 3’6 junior hunters for the first time riding her Amour, and ended up champion of the division. Amour was also Champion with Meagan in the 3’6 performance.
Jennifer Baker and her partner Mtm Cornet blue showed us the way ending up reserve champion of the adult 3ft with good results including a hack win. Hank was also champion of the 3’3 green hunters with Mikael Brassard during the week.
Morgan Restaino had good rounds this week in the 3’3 AO with her mount Your’s truly including 11th place in the National derby!
Katherine Murray moved up to the 2’9 with her gambit, earning a second place, and an 8th in the Bit O Straw derby. Way to go Kate !
Paula Preschlack rose to the occasion on her Steel Away to the championship of the 2’9 adults, while Becky Price on Diamant d’heure were reserve champion of the division!
Kristin Sheftel showed her Snow Patrol to the judges, Ending up champion on the 2’ USHJA with multiples wins. Our king schmoo was also champion with Meagan In the 2’6 ushja.
For our professionals, Meagan was champion on Becky price’s Clockwork and Reserve champion on Steel Away during the 3’3 performance.
Mikael rode Pablo honey to the reserve championship of the 3ft green. What a future for this baby horse!
