Meet Boomer! 😘
An A+ Good Boi who just wants to make his people happy! Boomer is an estimated 1-year-old, 65.8 bs, male Pitty/Bulldog mix. Boomer is a happy and social guy who has a lot of love and wiggles to give!
Boomer arrived to our care back in April after animal control picked him up as a stray. Not only was it obvious that he was attacked by another dog, his bloodwork showed he had heartworms.
Over the past 5 months, Boomers wounds and heart have healed. He has been available for adoption and ready for a home of his own for almost two months now, but sadly he has had no interest.
Despite his rough past, Boomer is a very sweet and affectionate dog. He is an active boy who loves his people with his whole heart. He enjoys going for walks, playing with toys, and lounging in the sun. Boomer does seem to be crate trained and knows a couple of basic commands.
Boomer would do best in a home where he can get plenty of exercise and training to help him channel his energy in a positive way. He may also benefit from some additional obedience training to help him learn to walk nicely on a leash and not jump on people.
To set everyone up for success, Boomer does need a home with a 6ft fence, no young children who could accidently be knocked over, and he would prefer to be the only pet in the home. With the right environment and guidance, Boomer will thrive and become a well-behaved and happy pup.

Meet Willow!!
Willow is an estimated 1-year-old, 48 lbs, female Shepherd Mix. She is a very loving girl who has spent the last two months working hard on her "stranger danger" social skills. When meeting new people, she can be barky and defensive but as soon as she knows people are safe, she will shower them with love and kisses. Willow forms very strong bonds with her humans and puts all of her trust into them. Due to this, she would do best in an adult only home that doesn't have a lot of visitors.
Willow is looking for a home with training experience or a home who is willing to hire and work with a trainer to help her blossom and gain confidence. She is the most loyal companion and so deserving of a home who will be loyal and committed to her. She loves going on long walks, running with other dogs, and playing fetch with her favorite toys. Willow is a quick learner and eager to please, making her a joy to train. Her happy-go-lucky personality brightens up any room and she is a favorite among all her human friends.
Overall, Willow is a sweet and affectionate girl who brings so much joy and love into the lives of those around her. She may be wary of strangers at first, but once she warms up to someone, she will be their most loyal and loving friend. If you can provide Willow with the love and support she needs, please consider giving her a forever home. She will be forever grateful for the opportunity to be part of a loving family.
