Last week wrapped up our 3rd week of camp! It was a great week with lots of learning and fun. Thank you to Dr Lexi Miller from Janssen Vet Clinic for giving our campers a very educational talk, it was great! Thankful for all our amazing helpers and horses for such a great week 🦄❤️

We had a great weekend at H&H!

Anything Goes and Frances Oviedo Fortin were champion in the beginner rider junior equitation and reserve champion in the beginner rider hunter.

M&M Way Too Lucky and Marlowe Martin won all of their cross pole hunter classes.

Marengo and Reis Ahlfeld had great rounds in the Low Children’s Hunter and Intermediate Rider Eq, finishing with top 3 placings in all of their classes.

Motor City and Zoe Carpenter had a great show in the Low Children’s and Intermediate Rider Eq, winning one of their over fences.

Parable Linton Highley and Peanut had a great first show and walked away with several 3rd place finishes in the open cross pole hunter.

We wrapped up week 2 of camp, the first IEA team camp, a little over two weeks ago! It was a great time and we are so thankful for our awesome counselors and horses!

Waterloo Hunter Jumper shows 1 & 2 were both amazing, we had a great time and lots of highlights!

Maggie White and Chinchilla participated in and won their first derby, the 2’6” Low Adult / Child Hunter Derby! They were also reserve champion in both the Low Children’s hunters and Intermediate Child / Adult Equitation.

Corolla J and Amy Ochoa had multiple second place finishes in the 3’3” Greens.

Pacific Ocean and Kate Lantzer had a great time in the Intermediate Child / Adult jumpers, finishing top 5 in multiple classes.

Strawberry and Grace Schubert had multiple top finishes in the Int Child / Adult jumpers and training jumpers, winning the 0.90 training jumper class.

Gracie Guenthner and Virgo were 5th in the Children’s Hunter Classic. Virgo was also champion in the Non Thoroughbred division and 3rd in the National Hunter Derby.

Orchard Hill Chocolatier and Ashley Arend had a great two weeks in the low adult Hunter and equitation, even winning a low adult equitation class.

Corbally Marty and Kathy Shoemaker had a great time at both Waterloo Hunt show 1 and H&J Classic 2. They were champion in the Intermediate child/adult equitation, and had multiple top 3 finishes over fences in the 2’ hunters.

Sol Naciente and Brooklyn Engle were reserve champion in the Children’s hunters, and were 3rd in the Children’s Hunter Classic.

Borasco and Maureen McIlhany were reserve champion in the 1.0 m high training jumper.

Promise van de Watering and Sarah Gould were reserve champion in the 3’ adult equitation week 1, and champion in the adult eq week 2.

Abby Dabby Doo and Marlowe Martin were reserve champion week 1 and 2 in the small pony hunter. They were also 3rd in the Marshal & Sterling USEF pony medal and 4th in the pony derby.

Catching Fire was 2nd in the National Hunter Derby.

It was a great week, so much fun with wonderful people and horses. We are so proud of everyone!

We had a great weekend at Lamplight for Spring Spectacular I last weekend!

Guess Who and Amy Ochoa were reserve champion in the USHJA 2’

Promise van de Watering and Sarah Gould were champion in the younger adult hunters.

Maureen McIlhany and Borasco had multiple top 3 finishes in the 0.90 Jr/Am jumpers including finishing 2nd in the 0.9 Jr/Am Classic!

What a great weekend at H&H Summer Horse Show Series at Traders Point !

Kathy Shoemaker and Corbally Marty won every single long stirrup class they did, ending champion in their division! They also won their first ever medal class together, the IHJA 2’ Medal! They were also 4th in their first ever hunter derby together, the IHJA 2’ derby!

Charlotte Mould and Virgo were champion in Low Children’s and reserve champion in the Intermediate Children’s Equitation!

Nickelback and Penny Cole made their horseshow debut and were champion in the IHJA 2’3” hunters. They also won the high point junior award for the Thoroughbred Incentive Program (TIP).

It was a great weekend with great rides from everyone!

We had a great time at the Kentucky Horse Park for the KY Spring Classic!

Leah Sousa and Corallo J were reserve champion in the Children’s Hunter and 2nd in the Children’s Classic.

Gracie Guenthner and Virgo had multiple top 3 finishes over fences in the children’s and ended up 5th in the children’s Hunter Classic.

Marlowe Martin and Abby Dabby Doo had great trips in the small pony division and they ended up 5th in the WIHS pony medal.

Ava Auvil and Pacific Ocean had great trips and were 4th in the 0.90 novice jr/am jumper on Sat and Sun.

Grace Schubert and Strawberry had great trips in the 0.80 training and 0.90 novice jr/ am all week and ended up 7th on Fri.

Sarah Gould and Promise van de Watering had a great debut horse show with great rounds in the USHJA 3’ and Adult Amateurs.

Maggie White and Chinchilla had a great first show together, getting multiple ribbons in the low children’s hunters, including a second place finish in an over fences.

Ashley Arend and Orchard Hill Chocolatier had great trips in the baby greens and low adult hunters.

That doesn’t even sum up all of the highlights of the week, we had such a great time! All of the horses and riders worked hard and had so much fun. We can’t wait for the rest of the summer!

Calling all pony riders 📣 We are thrilled to announce that we will be adding a $1500 USHJA Pony Hunter Derby at the upcoming Kentucky Spring Horse Show (May 7 - 12) and Kentucky Spring Classic (May 14 - 19) 🎉 The Pony Derbies will be scheduled for Saturday afternoon each week in the Murphy Ring ✅ Entry fee will be $150, and post entries will be accepted without penalty 📃 Get ready to show off those ponies and prep for Pony Finals 🌟

We had a great time closing out the winter at the final WEC Winter Classic of the year!

Amy Ochoa and Corallo J had great rounds in the 3’3” Greens, earning top 3 placings in multiple over fences.

Marlowe Martin and Abby Dabby Doo had great trips in the Small Pony division, they were 2nd in their handy trip!

Ashley Arend and Orchard Hill Chocolatier had a great horseshow debut. They put in solid trips all week and ended up 12th in the Low Adult Classic. ‘Freddy’ is a large pony, eligible green, and available for sale or lease. Message for more info.

Reis Ahlfeld and Marengo had a great time at their rated horseshow debut, putting in great trips and finishing with ribbons in their over fences classes and they were 9th in the Low Children’s Classic.

M&M Way Too Lucky and Ashley Arend put in solid trips in the USHJA 2’.

Kathy Shoemaker and Corbally Marty had awesome trips in the USHJA 2’ and even ended the weekend with some ribbons in some large classes!

Amy Ochoa and Notre Montrachet had beautiful trips in the USHJA 2’6”, earning some nice ribbons out of very large classes.

Virgo, owned by Gracie Guenthner, had great trips in the USHJA 3’ and WEC 3’, ending with some 3rd and 4th place finishes.

It was a great week, we can’t wait to be back at WEC!

So much love 💕 at WEC winter 10! No better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day!

Amy Ochoa and Leah Sousa’s Corallo J put in beautiful rounds in the 3’3” Greens, and were 5th in the open derby!

Marlowe Martin and Abby Dabby Doo were 6th in the pony derby, and champion in the small pony division. Marlowe and M&M Way Too Lucky won the small pony hunter under saddle.

Charlotte Mould and Virgo had good trips in the low children’s and the intermediate equitation. They were 2nd in the Int Eq flat out of 23 competitive entries, and 3rd in the HJAM low children’s medal.

Katrina Seitz and Notre Montrachet had wonderful trips in the low adults and intermediate adult eq, and were 11th in the low adult hunter classic.

It was such a fun week! Great job everyone.

WEC Fall 5 was a super fun time! 🎃🥳

Leah Sousa and Corollo J moved up to the 3’3” Juniors, the pair had great trips with top ribbons and were 4th in the Jr Classic!
“Rolo” and Amy Ochoa also had great trips in the 3’3” Greens, winning an over fences trip!

Marlowe Martin and M&M Way Too Lucky we’re champion in the Future Hunters! These two also crushed their costume class 😍

Katrina Seitz’s Notre Montrachet had great trips in the USHJA 2’6” hunters!
