Horses use their lips to grasp and explore, like fingers. For such big animals, they are gentle eaters 🐴 I could watch them eat all day! 💚

When should horses go out vs staying in? It can depend on the horse’s age, body composition, natural coat growth, ability to access shelter, and personal preferences…but horses generally prefer going out! This morning, we bundled them in their blankets and sent them to their pasture with lots of hay and fresh water. #horsecare #horselife #horselove #winter

A little sneak peek at the first day of Winter Wonders 2024/2025! We had a wintery mix just in time, which made the hot cocoa especially tasty and the barn extra cozy! 🐴❄️☺️ 8 kiddos joined us for horse care and self care. Boys turnout ☺️ Our geldings (castrated made horses) all go out together. They have their best buddies, and usually break off in pairs after all saying “hello” to the group. We love watching them stretch their legs, socialize and graze. Maverick, Conan, Music, Charlie, Chewy, Ranger and Denny 🐴
