We spent a week in Scottsdale, AZ, with other shepherds for the ASI (American Sheep Industry) Annual Convention! Great seeing so many people come together and discuss sheep related topics. And even though it was chilly, not as cold as it was here in Indiana!

While we were away enjoying the mountains of California, our farm sitter Lyla got some great pictures of snowy sheep! And maybe a dog. Possibly a goat. 😊🤣

Wool is 100% biodegradable because it’s a natural fiber, just like the hair on your head. When it’s no longer needed, wool breaks down quickly in the soil, turning into nutrients that help the earth. Unlike synthetic fabrics that can stick around for years, wool leaves no trace, making it a truly eco-friendly choice.

No official picture from NAILE last night after the show. We did receive Reserve Champion Ram with our Spring ram lamb, Jambalaya. We were happy to see Shetland breeders from California and Massachusetts! Here is Jambalaya proudly walking around with his banner.

Our Story

We are a small 8 acre farm located in Westfield, Indiana- just northwest of Indianapolis. On the farm we keep a flock of around 30 registered Shetland sheep which we breed, raise and show all across the country. We also sell and show raw Shetland fleeces.

Also on the farm we have two llamas (George & Honeydew), three Great Pyrenees (Charlotte, Louis, & Beau), two mini horses (Sugar & Spice), and two barn cats (Salty & Meesa). Feel free to contact us if you are interested in buying sheep or want to arrange a visit. We have lambs on the farm usually from March-June.
