Whether you wish to escape your busy life for awhile, enjoy trekking, like to explore Lan Ha bay or want to experience the authentic feel of Vietnam and escape the tourist crowds, the Ancient House is the place to be! Our bungalows, all build in ancient Vietnamese style, are situated in a garden that covers the whole valley, filled with lemon grass, flowers and fruit trees. Here you can relax and take in the beautiful scenery while enjoying the sounds of the forrest. Located just outside Viet Hai, it is the perfect location to explore the village. Or use it as a base from where you can go on a trek in Cat Ba's national park, book a boat tour to discover Lan Ha bay or go kayaking. We have some kayaks for rent and also offer bikes if you want to make your transport around this side of the island more easy. If you would like to book a tour to explore Ha Lan bay we would be happy to help you out with that too. To make your stay more comfortable we offer Vietnamese home cooked meals, but if you prefer cooking your own food we also have a kitchen you are welcome to use. In the evening you can share some good times around our fireplace where we can tell story and have a sing and laugh together.
