We are always here for you and your pet and we remain available to assist you on Vietnam's Independence Day (2/09 & 3/09). However, kindly note that appointments must be scheduled by calling us in advance as the clinic gate is locked and our team of vets won't be on site.

The consultation fee is 600,000 VND from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and 2,000,000 VND outside of these hours. Please remember to give us a call before coming to our clinic as our clinic gate will be closed and we won't accept walk-in appointments.

Poison Warning ⚠️
We had another warning about poison left out to kill pets, and this time close to Tilo's restaurant near Marble Mountain ⚠️ Please be careful!

Here are a few ways to protect your pooch:
🐕Be vigilant and walk your dog where you can see what they are sniffing.
🐕NEVER let them off of the leash. Your dog can digest the poison within seconds so pay close attention.
🐕We recommend owners walk their dogs with muzzles to be extra safe

If your pet ingested poison, rush to the clinic immediately! Please let us know if you see poison or thieves and include the location so we can share it with pet owners.

The pavement heats up quickly and gets even hotter than the air surrounding it so when it is hot outside, the ground can potentially cause burns to paw pads 🐾☀️

An easy way to judge whether it is too hot, it is to put the back of your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds. If it is hot and uncomfortable to you, it is safe to say it will be uncomfortable for your dog and could end up burning their paws.

If you think driving to places like the beach, or grassy parks is ok as your dogs’ paws aren’t touching concrete or asphalt, but this isn’t the case. If the temperature is 35 degrees, the sand temperature could be up to 50 degrees, and the grass temperature could be up to 41 degrees! Please choose cooler times of the day to walk your dog, like early morning or late afternoon.

This sweet pup, Haku, is fully vaccinated 💉🎊

Your puppy will need a series of vaccinations of 3 week intervals to be fully protected. The initial vaccine is usually given at 6-8 weeks of age. This vaccine will not have a lasting effect unless your puppy receives a booster around 10-12 weeks and again at 14-16 weeks of age.

Your puppy won’t have full protection until two weeks after the second vaccination takes effect, so make sure to keep your puppy indoors safely, until then.

So, when he came in to the clinic with a broken leg (after he got a bit too excited and jumped from a spot that was too high), we decided to decorate his little cast and show him some extra love 🥰

We wanted to share an update about Ring Ring, a sweet kitten who came to us with a severe case of skin fungus, commonly known as ringworm. This condition required extensive treatment and dedicated care.

Thanks to the incredible volunteers at Paws for Compassion, who diligently followed up on Ring Ring's treatment our vets provided, we're happy to report that she is now looking much better. Their hard work have made a significant difference in her recovery.

Ringworm is a highly contagious fungal infection that affects the skin, hair, and nails of animals AND HUMANS TOO! It can be quite persistent and challenging to treat, but with proper care and attention, pets can make a full recovery.

If you notice any signs of skin issues in your pets, such as redness, scaly patches, or hair loss, please consult us for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Skin diseases in pets can bring headache and stress for owners, proper diagnosis and treatment makes the difference! 🐾💪

Do you remember RingRing? This tiny kitten was discovered alone in a dumpster.😔 The kind persons who rescued her reached out to us after a week, concerned that despite their efforts, RingRing wasn't improving.

Sadly, RingRing was suffering from a severe ringworm infection, causing her to lose all her fur.😥 It took months of intensive treatment including therapeutic baths and medication to finally rid her of this resilient condition.

🐾 Story time From Paws Clinic

We are happy to share the successful BOAS surgery of our beloved patient, Ut Ut, the French Bulldog! 🐶❤️

French Bulldogs, like Ut Ut, often suffer from stenotic nares (narrowed nostrils) and an elongated soft palate, which can make breathing a real challenge for them. These conditions, collectively known as Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS), can severely impact their quality of life.

BOAS surgery is a lifesaver! Here's how it helps:
1. Stenotic Nares Correction: By widening the nostrils, we ensure Ut Ut can breathe more easily and get the oxygen he needs.
2. Soft Palate Resection: Shortening the elongated soft palate reduces airway obstruction, allowing for smoother breathing.

The benefits of BOAS surgery are great:
✅ Improved breathing
✅ Increased energy levels
✅ Enhanced quality of life

Keeping Pets Safe During Heat Waves in Vietnam 🔥🐾☀️🐕🐩🐕‍🦺

Our patient Bella is chosing the coolest part of our garden to battle the heat these days! 😎

With Central Vietnam experiencing increasingly high temperatures, it’s crucial to take special care of our pets during heat waves. Here are some essential tips to ensure your furry friends stay safe and comfortable:

Adjust Walk Time
Early Morning and Late Evening Walks: The temperatures are much cooler in the early morning and late evening. Schedule walks during these times to prevent your pet from overheating. Avoid the peak heat hours from 8:30AM to 6PM.

Hydration is Key
Provide Plenty of Water: Ensure your pet always has access to fresh and cool water. Consider adding ice cubes to their water bowl to keep it cool longer. Carry a portable water bottle and bowl during walks.

Limit Outdoor Activities and Restrict Daytime Walks
During the hottest parts of the day, it’s best to keep your pets indoors. Asphalt and concrete can become extremely hot, burning your pet’s paws. Test the ground with your hand; if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for your pet.

Create a Cool Environment
Keep your home cool with fans or air conditioning. Create a shaded area outdoors if your pet spends time in the yard. Cooling mats or wet towels can also help keep them comfortable.

Monitor for Signs of Heatstroke
Watch for Symptoms: Symptoms of heatstroke include excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, and collapse. If you notice any of these signs, move your pet to a cooler place immediately and contact veterinarian.

Keep Them Groomed
Regular grooming helps to remove excess fur and keep your pet cooler. However, AVOID shaving them completely, as their fur also protects them from sunburn.

By following these guidelines, you can help your pets stay safe and healthy during Central Vietnam’s heat waves. Remember, if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them!

Did you know that puppies should be wormed every two weeks until twelve weeks, then monthly until six months old? Once they have reached six months, a puppy can transfer onto an 'adult' deworming schedule. All adult dogs need to be dewormed every three months for the most effective protection.

We love sharing the stories that highlight extaordinary relationships with between pets and owners! Meet Muffin and Ana - BFF! 🐾❤️

Muffin has faced significant health challenges, including urinary obstruction, kidney failure and excessive body weight loss. After enduring months of hospitalisation at our clinic and numerous treatments and support, it seemed like the odds were against him. However, with Ana's unwavering love, care, and support, Muffin has made an incredible recovery.

Despite being on the blink of death, Muffin is now thriving and enjoying life to the fullest with his best friend, Ana. With each kiss she gives him he gains 100g more in weight!
