14 year old Westie Sydney doesn’t he look amazing after a double wash in Peanut & Pickle conditioning shampoo and a fresh cut 🩵

🩷 Teddy girl as she’s called, this Cavachon gets quite stressed being groomed even though I see her every 4-6 weeks so an easy maintenance trim and it’s off the table for a biscuit then she’s happy.

Martha is the only doodle on my books purely because I’m mobile and they’re usually too big for me but Martha is light and a groomers dream she’s just wonderful 🩷

Alfie, to think I used to have to muzzle Alfie a few years ago, he could get quite grumpy with the whole grooming process even though he’s been with me since being a pup but fast forward to now and he’s so much happier with me 🩵

Good afternoon
My back is pretty much the same as last week, maybe a tiny improvement, I have seen a chiropractor who said my lower L5 disc was so inflamed, I also took myself to see a sports physio who said my posture was out of line, my hips and that I had practically zero back muscles which is something I need to work on once this pain has gone, it was a real wake up call to strengthen my back so Pilates/yoga and weights for me as soon as I can.
I actually hit a huge pothole mid November in wilmslow coming home from a funeral and this could have had a big impact on my back not necessarily my job.
I’d just like to thank those massively loyal clients that have been so understanding you are the best honestly you don’t know how much I appreciate you my business is my life and please don’t think for a second I would close!
Big appreciation to Snazzy Snouts in Timperley for helping out.
I’ll get to you asap but at the moment I can’t pick up your dogs and definitely not groom those who are a bit fidgety. I’ve lost a huge wage this week so it’s no fun for me.
I wish you all a lovely Christmas time 🎄 and I hope I’ll be back as planned on January 6th. If I do feel any better I can fit a few in before but I’m not pushing myself.
I’m seeing another physio this afternoon via my GP surgery 🤞🏼

‼️ I’m so sorry my Christmas break has started early but not in a good way I have an inflamed/slipped disc in my lower back this is my nightmare in my busiest week, I felt a few sharp pains a couple of weeks ago but me being me just carried on and ignored it because I was so busy and now my back has said no more! I have not been paying attention to my posture etc and this is what’s happened I feel extremely cross with myself. The pain as many of you may know is excruciating, so bad yesterday that I went to a&e, didn’t get much advice just a prescription for strong painkillers so I booked myself a private osteopath today who was brilliant, it’s not going to heal overnight, I can’t bend, turn my neck, lift or drive the car without the stabbing pain.
The worst timing ever on Christmas week, since around mid November it’s been bad luck after bad luck, I just want to work and I’ve now lost a weeks wage just in time for Christmas but there are much worse off I must remember.
Thanks for all those who I’ve spoken to and are so understanding and I’m truly sorry for those dogs who haven’t been able to get their Christmas groom, maybe a sign that I’m doing too much.
