Feral Feline Sanctuary Helping our community to Trap, Neuter and Release (TNR) feral cats and kittens. When the kitties are ready, they will be available for re-homing by application.

Please contact us if you are struggling with feral cats in the Piedmont area and we will do our best to help trap, schedule a spay or neuter and release free of charge. We work on donations only to help provide feral cats and kittens get the vetting they need to live a peaceful, carefree life in their cat community. The most precious commodity for these animals is time, time to heal, time to accli

mate and time to form a bond with those around them. Here at our sanctuary we offer that precious time each needs to thrive and become the best pet they can be. For cats who are not released back to their community, they will spend around 5 months at our farm where they can get used to horses, chickens, dogs, other cats and animals and most importantly, people. Please follow our page and if you have any questions you can email us here or at [email protected]

A BIG Wally update!
So after calling the number to the vet on his collar tag and leaving several messages for the original owner, we waited and it's been two weeks to the day with no word, we've decided to adopt Wally and had him neutered yesterday. He is recovering and such a sweet, wonderful guy! He is almost 14 pounds and is just a giant baby. Here he is with his new buddy Pilgrim

Wally update! This is how he greets me now every time I go out to see him. He is so sweet and so friendly! While I was walking around the yard I found a collar with a rabies tag so I called to see if they could locate the owner. Turns out that Wally's name is actually Big Kitty and he is a Himalayan mix. The vet did call the owner and left several messages over the course of 3 days, so now we wait! I've also posted on Nextdoor to see if anyone is missing this fella, but still no luck.

Okay FFSer's, there was a strange happening this morning! I walk out and see this guy by my van and coaxed him with food to a cage where he ate happily. He is clearly feral with scars, matted fur and lack of general care but seems kind of friendly. Maybe he wandered up to the farm looking for a girlfriend or just staking territory but I will get him his shots and get him neutered. I will also ask around and see if anyone is missing a cat. We have been calling him Wally because he looks like a walrus lol

Holly Noel is ready for her furever home! She had her surgery and rabies shot on January 7th and has healed up nicely. She has become acquainted with all sorts of animals in the mean time, chickens, horses, dogs and of course, other cats! Her hair is seriously SO soft, it's like angora rabbit fur. She loves to be held and brushed. She does not mind other animals and would be suited for either indoor or outdoor. She is about 2 years old and has had a complete vet check. If you are interested, please send me a message.

As hard as it was to give up hope for the white kitty I did come to the conclusion that I've done all I could to try and trap her but she was never seen after the first couple of days. The owner of the building was so nice and told me all about the other kitties that she would see come and go. She told me about this little girl and for a week and a half I have been trying to find her and low and behold as I was out enjoying the Christmas lights last night I stopped by the dollar general and there she was! Meet Holly Noel, the newest rescue! She has some matted fur and is a little skiddish but she understands that I am trying to help her. She is very willing to trust and is pretty friendly. She is scheduled to be spayed with the other 2 on the 7th of January. She will be up for adoption in early February 🐾

UPDATE! I was able to trap and get these two kitties from the parking lot. Their spay and neuter is scheduled for Jan 7th 🙂 Sadly I was not able to locate the skinny white one in the initial pics taken a couple weeks ago. I've been back daily and she is not there any longer. I still scheduled an appointment for her in case she comes back, so fingers crossed 🤞so far there has been $75 dollars pledged to go towards the $250 needed to vet these kitties, if you would like to donate, please send through paypal to [email protected] Thanks everyone!

Great news! One of the parking lot kitties is fully sponsored and her appointment for spaying is made for Jan 7th! 🎉Also, Christmas came early for the cat community thanks to Debbie Boles who donated the kitty kottage 🏡to us. The cats seem to love it and although they haven't gone in it yet I don't think it will be long until they do 🐾

Too many animals suffer at the hands of neglect, let's not continue the cycle. Consider spaying and neutering your pet and adopt from a rescue or animal shelter, not a puppy or kitten mill!

North Carolina has the 3rd highest (shelter) euthanasia rate in the country, representing over 55,000 cats and dogs in 2019. We would love to see this change. We owe it to our animals to do better.

Do you have unfixed animals at home? You can make a difference for animals in our community, our state and country. Please contact us for spay/neuter resources in the area.

For more information, please call 910-937-1164, message us here on Facebook or email [email protected]

* Did you know that all OCAS animals are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to being adopted out? We are doing our part to help reduce the unwanted pet population in NC. You can be part of the solution too!

Parking lot kitties need a Christmas miracle! 🎄I am looking to raise $250 to get these cats off of the street and into a good home. Each will be spayed or neutered (females are $70 and males are $55) plus $10 each for 1 year rabies vaccine. I believe the white one is a female, the calico is female and the grey striped is male. If you'd like to donate please send money via paypal to [email protected]. The tan and white kitty is in the most need, she is very skinny and dirty. All are pretty timid but I should be able to trap them if necessary. No amount is too small and if you can't donate, that's okay, please share this post 😸 Thank you and happy holidays!
