Also received notice from Purina our request for any form of assistance of food donations has been Denied... We are not big enough, nor a Non Profit 501 c3. I guess us little guys get left to fend for ourselves, which is a down right shame... you can send thousands to one.... and not a few bags to another... 😔 Thats ok.... we're getting use to being told no. But we won't stop asking. There's still babys that need to eat. And babys that need fixed. Moving foward...

Our Blind baby Binx. She likes this area very much. Spends most of her time here. She also must be fed here. She does have the ability to find the main food area.... Im not sure if it's her disability... or if someone's spoiled! She sits here and squalls if she's empty 🤣

Copper and Bear come outside and meet Beu! Thank you Diane Richie Bonecutter for the kennel donation! We was able to bend and use EVERYTHING! It was mangled in a wind storm..... but it serves the purpose! 💙

It breaks my heart, but Ruby has been removed from the adoptable Babys until further notice. Seems no matter how hard we try, how many good steps we take, it just takes one bad action to set us back.... 💔 Not that anyone showed any interest in a grown dog.... She still deserves the best. And will eventually get it. It will simply have to be alone. No other animals present.... she's a perfect one on one.

After eating.... somewhat strengthening and way more active, time to hit the Farmhouse for some vaccinations and iron supplements.... Rescue, unfortunately, is not always walks, luvins' and happy days..... One of my GREATEST fears (believe it or not) is a TICK! I quit counting at 37.... My skin is CRAWLING.... will be Inquiring on a safe, "stackable" additional treatment to ensure we got them all. They cannot continue to thrive with these DEMONS.

‼️It's time! We've ways started flea and tick preventative in March. Last year (2020) was actually year round! Like they never left!

We've decided to eat.... and drink! Great signs!

They are in the home bathroom, in a smaller area that can properly disinfected pending Vet visit tomorrow (bleachable floors, walls, cage etc). Having a positive Parvo Pup outside is a very deadly issue to deal with, and almost 100% knowingly unable to rid from the area/land safely. There WAS (I thought possibly) a concern for possible Parvo symptoms (bloated belly, no appetite, weak, warm) which do NOT seem to be evident or the case. It was simply a precautionary measure to protect the other pets on the property until a definitive test is complete and they are properly Vaccinated rather by myself or Kirkpatrick tomorrow if given the all clear! Just wanted to clarify why such the small space 😉 and yes, it's safer inside confined to a small space, rather outside even if a case were to be positive!

We are again in need of a few additional panels..... We are needing 2 additional kennels to accommodate new intakes. We were hoping to not further expand..... But due to one current resident being food aggressive, she cannot have a roomie. Our 2 Quarenteens also have an appointment tomorrow at 4:30 for their Parvo testing 🤞 If anyone has any.... or knows anyone that has any of these laying around not in use, that may possibly donate or sell for a small fee, please message us! We are looking for 8 pieces in total.... 4 will due this week! 🙏 we've bought the last 3 new and simply cannot do it again. We just will not be able to assist any more until further space allows unfortunately 😔

I didn't cry..... You cried..... This.... This was gut wrenching, yet so satisfying all at once....💙 Im so Happy for you Heidie.... We will miss you sweet girl! You DESERVE THE BEST💜

He stopped... looked at her. We listened to his stories of his other dog he had lost. All he was missing at 93..... I was almost positive as his family put him in the car, saying they will be back, they weren't really coming back for her. At that moment, he hopped out of the car in the middle of the parking lot again! Back he came, for what he had to have.... the look in his eyes broke my heart. He absolutely had to have her..... It took, both Drake and I a few minutes to have our cry. Then we placed her in the vehicle with him. I wish them the very best.
