Growing up 🥹 little Zorro is halfway there with that eye mask 🖤
Zorro is one of Goro's babies, our mottled rooster we recently lost to a hawk. Thankful to have apart of him left in this sweet baby...they sure have his wonderful demeanor.

I don't know if you felt it this morning...
..but we sure did. There was an undeniable hint of fall in the air that even us Floridians were able to detect around 6 am. Stayed for just a minute but even the yard hobbits had an extra pep in their step as they headed to breakfast this morning.

Keep it coming, we're ready for a new season.

Very pleased with this little girl we hatched from our chocolate mottled project pen 🤎.

Seeing qualities you bred for with specific pairings is true ✨️chicken lady thrills✨️, especially with a project in its early stages.

Moving forward all new yard hobbits hatched on our hobby farm will be vaccinated. We believe every flock owner should have the freedom to determine what is best for their birds and to act accordingly. We lost these two beautiful friends unexpectedly over the past few weeks due to a predator/accident. Their loss is deeply felt 🧡 and we will continue to miss them. While they were here, they were loved ✨️.

I need you to be so real with me...

How many roosters do you have? 😅 We have recooped around 20 over the past few months and I am still in double digits.
...and why are they always my favorites 😍 I'm thinking 3 bantam roosters = 1 standard size rooster right?
