Captain Pug had an eventful day getting everything at the office and home front ready. Happy Friday!!

Pawsitivity Veterinary Wellness Vaccine Clinic will be at Joe's Country Store tomorrow from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Depending on the heat we may close early but will keep you updated on facebook.

If you are coming out and would like to fill out the client paperwork before coming out, message us and we will send the papers that can be filled out and emailed back. The hope is to reduce the time that you and your furry babies are out in the heat. We do have swamp coolers and fans but it is summertime and hot. See you tomorrow!

Pawsitivity Veterinary Wellness Vaccine Clinic wanted to let everyone know that we will be having another vaccine clinic at Joe's Country Store on June 29th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm again. We have had a few requests for another one so here it is. It has been hot so we recommend keeping your pets in the AC vehicle until we are ready. We want to keep every safe and cool. We do have a covered tent and swanp coolers but it is still hot out.

Vaccines: (Canine)
Rabies 1 year - $15.00
Distemper/adenovirsu/parvo/parainfluenza (DAPP) - $21.00
Leptospirosis - $24.00
Bordetella three-way respiratory - $20.00
Diagnostic Tests:
4Dx (heartworm) - $50.00 (includes heartworm and the three most common tick-borne disease
Heartworm test alone -$20.00
Microchip - $20.00
You get a complete record of your pet's vaccines, discussion about heartworm test results, rabies tags with a separate certificate, and a brief physical exam. If your pet receives a microchip we help direct you to the appropriate place for registration of that chip. There is no exam fee but I still look your furry baby over to make sure I feel that they are safe to receive vaccines. If there are any concerns I would discuss them with you.

It is getting HOT out there! Remember that our pets get hot too. The heat plus the humidity make this time of year deadly to our pets. Don't keep pets in vehicles without AC going, only keep outside for short amounts of time, and make sure if they are outside there is shade and water that they can get to.

It is heat stroke season and many times we can help prevent this from occurring. Remember that our pets don't have an off button that tells them to chill and relax They will keep running and playing unless we make them stop. Below are signs of heat stress and heat stroke in dogs.

Heat Stress (should be seen by a veterinarian)
1. Excessive panting
2. Bright red gums (if pale they are in big trouble and seek veterinary attention right away)
3. Weakness (ie slowing down on a walk)
4. Salivating
5. Diarrhea - if bloody see a veterinarian
6. Vomiting

Signs of heat stroke (THIS IS AN EMERGENCY AND YOU SHOULD SEEK VETERINARY CARE IMMEDIATELY(
1. Collapse
2. Vomiting
3. Bloody Diarrhea
4. Bruising on abdomen

Risk factors:
1. Brachycephalic breeds (pugs, bull dogs - think smushed faced pups
2. Elderly dosgs
3. Overweight dogs
4. Thick-coated or dark-coated
5. Patients with respiratory or heart disease

If any of the signs are seen, seek the nearst veterinary hospital that is open. Be prepared and know where your Emergency Veterinary hospitals are!!

Pawsitivity Veterinary Monthly Vaccine Clinic

Happy Mother’s Day to all the AMAZING MOMS (both pet moms and human moms) that are out there.

We love you Janet, Christy, Jamie, and Alicia!! We are where we are because of your great support!

Christy is the other half of Pawsitivity Veterinary Wellness Clinic. She has a husband and three kids in addition to a full time job. Thank you for all you do!!

Janet is Dr. Clark and Christy’s Mom - she always believes in us and keeps us in our place. You can find her running the heartworm tests on Saturdays

Jamie and Alicia help us out at our vaccine clinics and are always just a phone call away! They both are very busy ladies but are always there for us if needed. They help make sure the forms are filled out and keep us laughing.

When we say we are a family run business that is true from the top to the bottom. Without our family and friends we wouldn’t be able to take such great farmer your furry babies!! So to all the moms that wear so many hats!!! Thank you to the moon and back!!

Here at Pawsitivity Veterinary Wellness Clinic we are getting ready for some amazing kids showing their animals. These kiddos have poured their hearts and souls into their animals and it’s going to be an exciting fair! Good luck to all the kids and their animals and projects.

Just a reminder that we have our 2nd vaccine clinic for Pawsitivity Veterinary Wellness Clinic at Joe's Country Store this Saturday (February 10th) from 9:00am to 12:00pm. We are offering vaccines and heartworm testing for dogs.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our first vaccine clinic. I know the wait was a bit longer than most clinics but we are also trying to make sure that we speak out about the vaccines that they are receiving, discuss reactions to watch for, and add your pet to our medical record system so that if you misplace anything you can call and ask for those vaccines or results. That also helps us remind you when your pet is due for preventative again. It took a while but we were able to get everyone entered and sent a brief recap along with your rabies certificate via email last night. If you did not get an email please PM us so that we can correct the email address.

We will definitely be doing another one in the future with Joe's Country Store. This event was a success in large part to their support and we love that Joe's Country Store is here.

Another huge thank you to our family and friends who helped us set up, run heartworm tests, pull up vaccines, and were so very supportive in helping plan this.

Again thank you to all that came out and allowed us to help provide care to their fur babies.

Remember that we are a mobile clinic and can come to your home to provide wellness care (vaccines, blood work, microchipping, annual exams, nail trims, and much more). We would love to come out and continue care in the future.

Good evening ALL!!
We just wanted to remind everyone that we will be at Joe's Country Store tomorrow from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm giving vaccines, heartworm testing, microchips, and nail trims. We are very excited about this but it is our first one so please be kind while we are working on the workflow. Our goal is to provide affordable vaccines, answer questions that you may have, and make sure your pet is safe to receive vaccines. Since this is a vaccine clinic, if your pet is not feeling well or we have concerns, we have the right to defer vaccinations. The safety of your pet is our utmost concern.

Remember that all dogs must be on a leash. If you are bringing a cat we have vaccines but these events are stressful on our furry friends and we can always make a trip to your home so that there is a safe environment. The kitty must be in a kennel and stay in a kennel. If the kitty seems scared or freaked out we may defer and recommend coming to your home at a later time for the vaccines.

We will have forms for all clients to complete that have the options for vaccines to mark. We will enter your information in the computer system, Dr. Clark will give your pet the vaccines, and we will check you out. You will receive all your paperwork before leaving but it will also be saved in our computer system if you need it in the future.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and fingers crossed it is supposed to be beautiful.

Happy New Year to everyone! We are excited to announce that we are expanding our hours a bit and we will be providing vaccine clinics throughout the year.
Our hours have expanded to every 2nd/4th Saturday and every Sunday.
We are having a vaccine clinic at Joe's Country Store on January 13th from 9:00 am to 12:00pm. We can do vaccines for both dogs and cats but I will warn that many kitties don't do well with the stress of vaccine clinics. If you have a cat that needs vaccines please bring in a secure kennel and we can do the vaccines in the feed store instead of our tent that will be located outside. We can also make a future appointment to come to your home and give the vaccines is a safer environment.

We do have a limited supply of Heartgard that can be purchased for heartworm prevention but we don't have a large supply. If we run out we can provide written prescriptions. I don't currently have any flea/tick prevention on hand but can also provide a written prescription for that as well if needed.
We are very excited about this year and looking forward to making new friends and helping improve the health of your furry best friends.
There is no exam fee for the vaccine clinic but that does mean that a full physical exam is not being performed. The goal of the clinic is to help make sure your furry best friends have vaccines, heartworm tests, and prevention to help protect them from illness. If there are concerns about your furry best friend we are more than happy to come out and see you for a wellness appointment to perform that full exam and discuss recommendations.

The weather is changing and the mosquitos will be coming... They are already here. Is your fur babies protected against those nasty creatures. What about the fleas and the ticks??

It’s national receptionist week!! We are a family owned business and that means we do it all but I want to send a huge shout out to christy stucker.

Christy helps answer our cell phone, check patients out, holds, patients, and keeps me in line. This business was her vision and I am happy to be part of the journey.

Happy Friday Morning Y’all!!! ITs going to be a beautiful day and you should all come out to Three Acres Food Truck Park tonight from 5pm to 9pm and bring your fur babies!! There so much to do, eat, and you can get you doggies checked out by us!!!!

Exam is 30.00 and is required for vaccines. We want to make sure there are no concerns for you furry best friends!! Prevention is so important.

Vaccines are on site and we can perform annual lab work, including heartworm testing!!! We will provide you with a written prescription for your heartworm, flea, and tick preventative!!

Need a microchip.. we got those too and will help you register it on site!!!

Oh boy!! And those nail trims we can do that too!!

Pawsitivity Veterinary Wellness Clinic went to our first Bark in the Park at Three Acres Food Truck Park last Friday. We met some adorable new patients and some amazing owners. The food was amazing as always.

We hung out with friends and family as we launched our first time out with our trailer we have been working so hard on.

We got busy speaking to people and forgot to take a lot of pictures but here are a few. We will be back at Bark in the Park at Three Acres Food Truck Park on April 22! Come bring you furry friend and say hi. We can check them for a microchip, perform a nail trim, give vaccines, and even run lab work on site from our trailer!! We hope to see you all then!!

The physical exam is $75, this covers us driving to your home and Dr. Clark examining your babies where they are most comfortable to be.

Meet Dr.Clark, Cheyenne and Abu

About 2 months ago Abu went down unable to walk and unable to see. He spent 2 weeks at Texas A&M. Had pneumonia and secondary bacterial infection. He spent 6 weeks at home after being hospitalized getting daily care.

This past weekend Abu was able to make his first prospect show. This could not have happened with out the help of Dr. Clark, Texas A&M, and Cheyenne’s breeder Tommy.

Meet Sadie!! Sadie is a 7-year-old golden retriever. She enjoys spending time with the grandkids, walks and getting lots of attention.

Sadie really took up to our veterinary assistant Cheyenne.

Good afternoon!!!
I am proud to announce the opening of Pawsitivity Veterinary Wellness Clinic. It is Co-owned by Dr. Jeannie Clark and her sister Christy Stucker. Our goal is to provide affordable and convenient care for your fur babies.

We were both raised locally in Santa Fe, Tx and are so excited to provide care to pets in Galveston County and surrounding areas.

We are supported by our amazing family and friends that believe in our vision.

Our journey started in August of 2021, when we found a toy hauler and my sister (christy) had the idea to start a mobile veterinary wellness clinic. We took the older trailer and have slowly rebuilt and redesigned it to fit our vision.

The trailer will be used for low cost vaccine clinics that ideally will be set up at the same location once a month and we will use the truck to provide at-home visits on days the trailer is resting.

Keep your eyes out for days that the trailer will be out in the community.
