Together we operate an earthen building business called Earthen Culture, you can find more information at our website, earthenculture.com. Jay is also my partner in making the jewelery you see here. He shapes most of the stone, helps shape some of the wood and generally does the scary manly cuts I don't want to do. Whether building homes or making jewelery we prefer to use local materials gathered
in a sustainable way. The wood we use may have been fallen branches, an old wood scrap stash blessedly passed down, salvaged by arborists, or traded for at local bartering circles. Almost all of the stones we use we get the good old fashioned way... rock hounding. All our jewelery and displays are hand crafted and unique pieces made with love. I have taken great tare to learn about each of the gemstones that I use in order to create wearable and healing art. We enjoy traveling and hope to take our art on a music festival tour. We have done the Summer Meltdown Festival for the last 5 years, in addition to helping organize and host a smaller festival on San Juan Island, The Islands Village Faire.
