*Update: owner found!

Do you know me? This friendly guy lost his family, but found my feral cat colony. He was cold, hungry and crying for help.
Found 11/24/24. Unfortunately, there is no municipal animal shelter here. Hopefully his family is looking for him. I will do my best to find them.

Young unaltered male. No microchip.

🧡Jeffrey Darwin was rescued from a freeway on-ramp in Brigham City, Utah. (8/10/24) A kind highschooler spotted him and reached out for help. He was approx 6-7 weeks old. (No other kittens or mama was found).

Jeffrey is a playful, gentle and sweet kitten. Approx 5 months old. He doesn’t have any trouble introducing himself to other cats and kittens. He does well with them. He has a great disposition, is devastatingly handsome, and has perfect potty manners.

He would do best with a person who spends time at home and wants a companion. He’d love to be adopted with one of his play buddies. He could also be a great addition to your family as another cat. It is unknown if he would do well with dogs or small children. However, if introduced properly and if they are tame, it shouldn’t be a problem.

He feels canned food is a seriously important part of his diet. He requests the tradition be carried on. He would also like to sleep on your bed, and have lots of toys.

Having had enough of the big, bad outdoors, he is strictly and contentedly an indoor cat. He has had an exceptionally rough start in life and is looking for only blue skies ahead. Forever.

🖤 Cricket

Even though Cricket was wondering what the plan was at the vet this morning, she took it all in stride and did great today.

Her surgery went well. It turns out she is not pregnant. I’m so glad! (She had started to come in heat and was wormy). She is negative for FIV/FeLV.

Welcome to the good life Cricket. I promise to find you a home as totally awesome as you are.

Funds secured. Thank you all!

Just look at him! 🥹

Hamilton’s surgery went well today. The vet decided the best course of action was to pull 11 of his teeth instead of a full mouth extraction. Recheck is in a month.

The total today was $1,024.82
8 awesome individuals donated $297.50 Amount left to fundraise is $727.32 No donation is too small. Your support is needed and appreciated.

Hamilton was an abandoned tom cat from the streets of Logan and he needs help from our animal loving community.

He is currently home. Has eaten soft food, pottied, and is resting well on antibiotics and excellent drugs to control pain.

🧡 Fundraiser

Do you remember me?

Weighing in at 18 pounds, Hamilton is a big lovable guy that has been an ongoing special case.

He has been through a lot while in my foster care. He received the basics- neuter, vaccines and dewormer. He also had blood work and is unfortunately positive for FIV (but that doesn’t slow him down). He needed and successfully went through entropion eyelid surgery and a dental.

A year and a half later he has developed painful stomatitis. He has recently been to the vet for an exam and was prescribed antibiotics to prepare for the dental surgery. All of his teeth will need to be extracted.

The surgery is Tues Oct 15th. I need to raise $1000+ to cover the cost. I’m one person doing this alone and would appreciate any support.

Please help me set Hamilton up for success. I am looking forward to finding him his new adoptive family once he’s feeling better!

*Update: Kitten was transferred to rescue and getting is getting medical care. Thank you Zoo! 💗

Looking for a rescue to transfer this baby kid.

This kitten was recently trapped at a feral cat colony. She is EXTREMELY sweet- so she will not be going back.

However, I suspect she has FIP. She has a huge belly and her body condition is poor. Her bones are prominent in her spine, hips and ribs. I’ve only had her a day. She’s been de-wormed.

I have other kittens I recently took in from a colony I’m working on. I am not able, or equipped to give her the care she needs.

Sending smoke signals from Cache County. Is there anyone able to help?!

A short story and fundraiser about a cat named Georgie.

Several years ago I was doing TNR at an apartment complex. I came across Georgie. He had a severe tail injury. He had to have most of it amputated. He was also neutered and vaccinated. Georgie stayed with me while recovering. Once his tail healed, I didn’t have the heart to take him back to his colony.

I learned he was semi-tame. He had a docile spirit. He kept to himself and often ran out of sight. But he made other kitty friends and was comfortable here.

Over the past month he’d been losing weight. He stopped running away form me and tolerated being picked up. It’s then I could feel his protruding bones and poor body condition hiding underneath his coat. He had also become congested. He was working harder to breathe and was unwell. The veterinarian noticed his gums had a blue hue and suspected heart problems… possible kidney too. Georgie was a senior cat and had deteriorated.

The veterinarian and I both felt the best course was to let Georgie go. We opted not to do costly workups of x-rays and bloodwork with his already poor outlook.

These decisions are difficult. There are SO many cats needing help and little to no resources in my area. Please consider donating to help cover his bill. I can only do this work with support. If 10 people donated $17 this bill would be resolved.

Rest in peace Georgie (you and those fabulous whiskers of yours). Know that I tried my best. I’m sorry for all you’ve been through. Know that you were loved.

I didn’t know when I told Poseidon “that everything’s going to be ok”-would mean a release from his earthly misery.

Poseidon had serious complications from FIV. He was sickly, wasting away and in terrible condition.

The kindest thing offered to him was peace. He purred even when sedated until he was asleep. He was humanely euthanized yesterday.

I cried. I am sad. I am angry.

I feel exasperated by people. This shouldn’t have happened, yet it is common place. It’s incredibly painful to witness over and over again.

The only veterinary care Poseidon received was when I had him neutered, dewormed & vaccinated a couple of years ago. He lived much of the time outside fighting and mating with other unfixed cats, this is how he contracted FIV. He was left behind when his family moved.

His last few days were spent with me. He loved the soft blankets on the bed and was such a snuggler. He purred the moment he was touched. Poseidon did not seem to worry about where he was, or show nervousness once I got him home. He showed relief. He knew I was helping him. I know he felt safe.

I feel such love for every cat I come across. I miss him. I wish he was one that could have gone on to a new life with a new family… but not all endings are good.

I’m so sorry Poseidon. Rest easy. Know that in the end you were seen, and most definitely loved. 💙

(The last pic is when I first met him Aug 2021. He didn’t have the best life, but was a much healthier cat back then)

Thank you to the few who donated. Because if you, Poseidon received veterinary care.

Rest easy sweet Walker. You were so loved.💙🌈😢
