Update: Rest in peace beautiful boy. 💔

Sadly, funds were not secured for Sunny’s surgery. Thank you to those who were pulling for Sunny and donated. We hoped for a better outcome. *If you would like your donation sent back, please message me. Otherwise it will go toward his previous vet bills and cost of euthanasia. Thank you.

URGENT- PLEASE HELP!! 😢

Foster kitty Sunny needs backers for emergency treatment and surgery. If I can’t raise the funds, my only other option is euthanasia. This plea is his only hope.

Sunny has been dealing with a urinary blockage which is life threatening. Although he’s been catheterized, hospitalized and sent home, he is still blocking and can’t urinate. He went in again yesterday to have his bladder drained. As of now, his bladder is full. He is suffering. Something has to be done immediately.

He’s been on strong pain meds and sedatives to help his bladder stop spasming and relax. He continues to block. It is recommended that he go get the PU surgery down at Mountain West Veterinary Specialists. They are working on an estimate, but it’s probably in the range of $4-6K

I posted a fundraiser for him the other day and only three people donated and I have not covered that previous bill.

I don’t want to fail him. Please comment, share, donate. I need the funds right away to make this happen. If I don’t secure the funds- I would be happy to return your money or it can go towards another needy foster kitty.

Emergency funds needed!

Yesterdsy Sunny was seen by my vet for an emergency visit. He was admitted and spent the night in the hospital. He had a blockage and wasn’t able to urinate. His bladder was extremly full. Without medical intervention and catheterization, he wouldn’t survive more than 24-48 hrs.

Thankfully, he was treated in time and he is on the mend. Sunny will need to be on a prescription diet for life and constinuously monitored for symptoms of this condition.

Sunny’s history is unknown and his family was never found. He is a foster cat from the streets of Logan. He is looking for his forever home and help with this unexpected expense.

If you could donate any amount it would mean a lot. I have only been able to do this work with the help of kind supporters. If you’re interested in adopting-please message me.

Thank you!

Thousands of tears, thousands of nights and thousands of lives worth fighting for.

All my life I’ve felt called to protect animals. I came into this world with that purpose. Becoming aware of their reality & the unnecessary suffering they endure, pains me deeply. The more I do, the more I see.

It can be an agonizing existence. Most people ask for my help rather than offer it. Setting boundaries & saying no, means an innocent animal will pay the price of another’s irresponsibility & neglect. These situations keep me up at night. Saying yes, will add more stress and push me to my limit & beyond, but will forever change that animal’s life for the good. I dislike having that power. Either way, I will struggle.

This is the hardest battle of my life, How can I do good without being utterly consumed by the bad? There is a tsunami of need. When I’m aware of situations involving suffering, & unable able to help, it gnaws at me. I carry it with me.

I miss being blissfully unaware. I’m overloaded with empathy & I despise suffering. I feel a connection with creeping things & magnificent mammals. They all have a place & purpose in the tapestry of life.

Most don’t understand it & never will. That’s ok. They don’t see and feel the things I do. The countless needy animals that have crossed my path are grateful, & God understands it. After all, He created me this way. I’m still learning to accept. Even when I try to reject who I am- it persists. This is part of me. I’m a lover and a fighter. This work takes tremendous strength and love… & I have them in great measure.

The world is a rugged place. I believe He knew there needed to be protectors to alleviate suffering of His innocent creatures. He loves them too. There are so many wrongs & worthy causes in this world that need attention. What cause is important to you?

On a lighter note: The moment I picked out my first kitten at 4 yrs old, I became a cat lady. Here’s to you Frisky! You always brought me great comfort & only happiness. Thanks for being tolerant of doll dresses & strollers, for walking me to school, & cuddling at night. You made my love for cats huge & I’m smitten.😽Happy International Cat Lady Day!

💛 Meet Luna!

Luna is a highly confident cat who is full of curiosity and can be playful. She is happy to introduce herself to new people. She loves affection and has a deep purr.

Through no fault of her own, she has found herself looking for a new home. She came from a chaotic situation. Sadly, her family was facing eviction. She lived and got along well with other resident cats. She has had two litters of kittens and is ready to relax and be a wonderful companion cat. (Her last kittens Snowball and Pickles were recently adopted together)! Her history with dogs is limited, but with a proper and slow introduction she is likely to do well.

She is a resilient cat, who is waiting and ready to be pampered. Her previous diet wasn’t ideal, and she needs help putting on weight and gaining a shiny fur coat. She will need to be fed a high-quality diet of wet food and kibble. Churu and other treats are important to her as well!

Her favorite snuggle buddy was a grade-school boy who was broken hearted to see her go. I promised him I would take care of his kitty and find her a great home.

Luna is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and de-wormed. She is approximately 1 1/2 -2 years old.

I’ve collaborated with my friends . You can meet Luna at the Murray, UT Petsmart.

DM for more info or an adoption application.

🖤Meet Shy!

Shy is a sweet girl with a gentle heart. She is looking for a peaceful home where she can feel relaxed and loved.

Shy came from a chaotic environment and found herself looking for a new home through no fault of her own. Sadly, her family was facing eviction. She lived with young children and a full house in the past, but all that energy was overwhelming for her.

She lived and got along well with other feline friends. She has also been a mama in the past. Her history with dogs is unknown, but with a slow and proper introduction she would likely be ok.

She likes slow gentle pets and may curl up on your lap while purring softly. At times she likes her independence. She has been enjoying high quality food- canned and kibble. She appreciates treats too. She has a playful side and when she’s comfortable is curious about toys.

She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. She is approx 1 1/2- 2 yrs old.

If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate cat full of love, Shy may be the right cat for you!

I’ve collaborated with my friends Kitty CrusAIDe. You can meet Shy at the Murray, UT Petsmart.

💙 Meet Opie!

Opie had a bit of a rough start, but he’s moving on. Want to join him? Opie is a fantastic kitty who is outgoing and friendly. He seeks out attention and is a purr machine. He doesn’t seem to mind dogs. He could be adopted as an only cat or learn to live with other cats. His experience with kids is unknown, but he should adjust fine to them.

Opie is approx 8 months old. He’s been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. He is strictly an indoor cat. He is looking for a family to love and dote on him- which would be easy to do. He’s got it all… looks and personality.

This beautiful boy found himself either lost or abandoned. He was spotted living under a shipping container behind a business. His collar tells a story of once having the comfort of a home. It is unknown how he found himself in that situation and he was terrified.

Unfortunately, after posting on the local fb lost pet pages, no owners have been found. (There is no municipal animal shelter here). He had no identification on his collar and was without a microchip. He was on the streets unaltered.

Anyway…

Opie is starting a new book called “The Good Life.” He’s looking for committed, loving responsible owners only. You can meet Opie at the Murray, UT Petsmart.

I’ve collaborated with my friends at DM for more info or an adoption application. Let’s find this guy his forever family!

🩶 Meet Loki!

Loki is the sweetest little boy with a face that will buckle your knees! He loves affection and will let you pet him for hours. He loves interactive play and would do just about anything for treats and food.

This little kitten was living in a feral cat colony behind a business. In January he was humanely trapped. He then went to a foster home for socialization. He is learning that people aren’t so bad. Loki would love to be adopted with one of his siblings. (He does great with Leena, who is also up for adoption). Or he could possibly be a new friend to your kitty. He hasn’t had experience with dogs or kids yet. He’s approximately six months old.

He will need a patient and understanding family that will help him continue to feel comfortable. He’s a great little guy and has a lot to offer.

I’ve collaborated with my friends at to help him find a fantastic home. You can meet Loki at the Murray, UT Petsmart.

Please DM for more details or an adoption application.

🥁Drum roll please… Oliver was adopted!
They call him Ollie.

Oliver came from a feral cat colony as an older kitten. He then spent some time in a foster home getting some socialization. He progressed there, but was still going to need a patient and understanding family, one that would continue helping him gain confidence.

Daniel and Lauren just finished building their new home and were excited and ready to add a second cat to their family. They fostered Oliver before adopting him to make sure he would adjust to their cat Luna and be a good fit in the family.

On Feb 6 the adoption was made final! I’m so excited for this little cat we lovingly called Mini Cheese. (Since he looked liked 2 other foster cats, Colby and Monty. Short for Colby cheese & Monterey Jack cheese). You’ve come so far Oliver. You went and found the good life!

Here’s what his new family has to say…

Oliver is enjoying his time chasing zip ties and getting chin scratches. He’s even getting comfortable enough to entertain the piano students and play games with them while they wait for their lessons. Ollie and Luna are finally figuring each other out, sleeping near each other and taking turns zooming around the house playing tag. Overall, he is relaxed and energetically happy to be here!

Congratulations Daniel and Lauren! Thank you for giving Oliver a chance and giving him a great home!

Look at this doll! Do you want to be part of a great cause? Do you love and care about cats? I am looking for volunteers near the Deweyville, UT area.

2 years ago I helped 18 + cats in this colony. They have already been TNR’d. I need a couple of volunteers to rotate going once a day. The kitties will be eager to get fresh water and food. (Permission has been given to feed on property)

Shoutout to the one awesome volunteer has fed for the past 2+ yrs. (You know who you are! 😽) She needs a helping hand, and is unable to stop by everyday.

(Don’t worry, cat food will be provided)

Please DM me if you are able to help. If you know someone who might be interested please share. Thank you!

Drum roll please…🥁

Minnie Mae was adopted!

1/18/25

A few years ago I was working on a feral cat colony behind a business. Minnie Mae was humanely trapped near a dumpster at 6-8 months old. She was feral, underweight & scared. However, she had a gentle demeanor. I decided to see if she could be socialized. She turned out to be a sweetheart.

My dear friend- the late Kelly Lawson, reached out to me and was looking for a cat for her Mom. I matched her with Minnie Mae. It was a great fit. She brought company, laughter & entertainment to her new person Vickie Jones. Sadly, a couple of yrs later, Vickie ended up in the hospital and passed away.

Once again sweet Minnie Mae was without a home. I went and picked her up in Salt Lake. It was a sad day. Minnie was scared & confused. She had seen Vickie get hurt. She had also been living over a month alone in an apartment. (People would stop in and feed her)

In her new foster home she was shut down. She didn’t have much of an appetite, regardless of all the different foods tried. Gradually she accepted her new situation- but never fully embraced it. She didn’t show her silly playful side & didn’t care for living with other cats.

It took a year for the right person to come along. Melody was grieving the loss of her German Shepard dog. She was looking for another ESA animal, this time a cat she could give a forever home to. After talking with her and looking over the application, I knew she and Minnie needed each other.

I noticed Melody’s gentleness and responsible nature. She prepared for & wanted to do everything right for her new companion.

Currently Minnie is sleeping on her bed & learning to trust & love her new person. Melody says she pounces on her feet when she wants to play & gets the zoomies. “She lets me kiss her head & pet her a lot. She really purrs up a storm whenever I pet her, or when she wants to play. She’s been a big comfort to me. It’s so nice to have her presence here. She’s just plain wonderful.”

Her name is now Faith.

She went with her cat tower, fav treats & toys. This home was worth the wait. She will be loved and give love the rest of her days; & I am happy.

Congratulations! 🧡🧡
