Finley is a well-loved, healthy, and active dog. He was referred to us by a functional medicine veterinarian, who asked us to help create whole-food recipes based on his food intolerances and nutritional needs.
Before being found by a rescue, he had contracted heartworm and had high levels of metal toxicity. As a result, he was on an aggressive treatment plan that included reduced activity. The reduced activity part we heard was the challenging part.
Part of his treatment was to eat high-quality pastured raised and grass fed animal proteins as well as organic vegetables. We created vet-approved recipes (as with all our recipes) but Finley-approved as well. He has since fully recovered and has remained a customer of KYS. His fave recipe is Jake's Grass-fed Beef recipe.
We appreciate the trust that Finn's veterinarian and parents placed in KYS and that it has been part of his success story.
