𝚂𝚞𝚗𝚍𝚊𝚢 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚙𝚙𝚒𝚗𝚐 🛒

Throwback to our trip to a few weeks back, where Snoops came away with this wonderful fluffy soft ball!

In all honesty, it’s been sitting beside the sewing machine since about 2 days after it came home, needing repaired after a good shredding from Snoops 😂 at least when I finally do fix it it’ll be like a brand new toy for him!

I’m on episode 6 of Heartstopper and 🥰🥰🥰

My sis got to me into the graphic novels, I’ve read two, and the series does it such great justice! 10/10 recommend!

𝙸𝚗𝚜𝚞𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎 𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚔....

It’s the time of year when the dog’s insurance renewals are due, and as long as pre-existing/lifelong conditions aren’t something I have to worry about, I like to shop-around and see what’s what.

Does anyone else find insurance stuff super overwhelming? lol this feels like a segway to an ad (it isn’t; I wish it was).

Anyhoo, I’ve found a couple of other companies that could work. One that’s about 40% cheaper than our renewal quote (for the same cover), or I can go for one that’s come highly recommended and would be about 50% more than our current renewal (for a better policy).

My thoughts? I’m skint as heck, but if a £1k vet bill were to rear it’s ugly head, even the more expensive option would be a saving grace.

But, if all is well, as has been for most of Snoopy’s life, it’ll be hundreds of pounds I never see again. Anyone else stuck in this debate?

Either way, I’ll get insurance. It’s still worth it. I just needed to vomit my thoughts out here in the hope that it helps me come to a decision 🙄

𝙱𝚘𝚘𝚝𝚊𝚢𝚢𝚢 🍑

The last week has been hectic - I’m going to stick some clips and pics on stories though. Classic me, I have actually been getting content, just not posting it 🤷🏼‍♀️😇

Speaking of bootys, Snoopy’s glands need done. I’ve tried myself, but no luck. I’m just loathed to go to the vets just for that 🥲

Ive heard that do a supplement that helps with glands, anyone used this and with how much success? Snoopy’s aren’t terrible, and need emptied less frequently since he’s been on raw, but it’s still a recurring issue.

Anyhoo, enough of the butt talk. Have a good Tuesday folks!

Yesterday morning I woke up ready to zap my to-do list and get s**t done. Instead, I tested positive for Covid, felt increasingly rotten, and my biggest success was watching the entirety of Bridgerton S2. Sooooo 🙃

I suppose having avoided the ‘big C’ for 2 years I had it coming. Thankfully so-far I only have a horridly sore throat and feel like I have a nasty cold (complete with snotters), and hopefully it doesn’t turn into anything more than that!

We’re going home today 😭 it’s been the most amazing little break from life, but sadly it’s time to head back to reality. We’ll be back though!

We made to our home for the weekend, after the loveliest sunny drive over. Far less stressful than last time. Snoops has made himself at home, currently curled up waiting for the fire to go on 🔥

We’re going over to Skye this weekend and I can’t freaking wait. Really hoping the weather is decent and I can get plenty of pics and generally enjoy some time outdoors.

Today started iffy, but has turned out to be quite lovely! Been productive, spent time with the dogs, and of course conked on the sofa to watch some Crufts.

I’m majorly wishing I was there, but also not loving the look of the mask-less crowds 😳

𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚎𝚗𝚍 𝚘𝚏 𝚊𝚗 𝚎𝚛𝚊...

This may seem to dramatic to some, but I’m genuinely gutted to say that Snoops (and I) will no longer be reps for Scruby Snax] 😢

We’ve been part of the team for over a year, and enjoyed every minute sharing and creating content for this wonderful small business. Unfortunately due to current life ‘things’ I decided that it was best if we stepped-down.

I’m making this post mainly as I don’t want anyone to think there’s any drama or that it was anything to do with Megan’s wonderful creations. Because it’s not! It’s purely that I’m trying to keep myself sane and that means relieving the pressure in some aspects of life.

We’ll continue to be Scruby Snax] fans, that’s for sure. And Megan, thank you for creating the most wonderful little team, it’s been a pleasure to work together 🥰

Every time I get back into posting something comes up in ‘real life’ that takes up all my brain space again, and then I go silent here. It seems to be a trend….

Currently, we’re having to love out of our house for a month while building work is done to repair damage caused by some flooding last year.

This in itself wouldn’t be the end of the world, except that I have a whole small animal rescue to shift as well. We’re staying with family which is great, but not close enough to our house to keep the animals there. The last week has been spent packing, sorting, and trying to keep the chaos to a minimum. Tomorrow we move ourselves and the critters to my Grandparent’s house. Wish us luck!

The weather has been SO unpredictable here, it’s sunny one minute, torrential rain the next. It’s supposed to snow in the next couple of days too……oh and gale-force winds. Funnnnnn! Outdoor activities have been limited as a result. Neither Snoops or I are very keen on the wind 💨
