He's here! Bartholomew Allen Peterson joined us this morning at 7lbs 8oz and 21 1/2 inches. He definitely took his time, but is doing well now! My husband Dawson and I are so happy to have him.

Projects like this are the best Humane way to help deal with feral cat populations and make a huge difference. Every fixed female cat is 2-3 less litters of kittens a year, and a fixed male is even more!

Bon would do best in a home that is patient about his potty training, he does great with calm children and needs time to adjust to them.

He does incredible with dogs/cats that are calm and allow him to adjust.

Maternity leave update!

Sadly I am approaching a week overdue on baby and am postponing my return appointments. I want to make sure I have plenty of time to heal up and get a routine figured out with baby before adding in grooms.

With that in mind I am going to hold off scheduling any more appointments until he is here and I am more confident on plans. I will keep everyone posted, but he's made it clear he has his own schedule and mine doesn't matter so I'm just waiting.

No baby yet, but I've got another birthday to celebrate today!

Miss Lulu is one of my most frequent/long term clients and it's crazy to think she's turning 3(which also means my business is about to turn 3!!) This girl has been seeing me monthly(or close to it) since she was 14 weeks old. Over the years we have adjusted her style to get her to the right level of cute and fluffy while also being maintainable. I love getting to watch my pups grow up and build relationships with them. It makes my job so much easier when we can build that trust.

Hope everyone survived the cold these past few days and I promise to update once little man is here!

And thats 2024 grooming in the books! Thank you so much to everyone for another great year and letting me love up on all of your pups!! I am so happy to have a job that I love and be building up good relationships with so many clients.

As of now I am Officially on Maternity leave(I have a few appointments booked in January, but not many!) So will be mostly unavailable until the end of February and won't be starting dogs again until March. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and happy New Year!

Such a fun/cute event! My two were happy to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus and love their little goody bag. Great way to support the local Humane society and get some cute pictures of the pups :)

ADOPTABLE!!!
TASHI & TOMO are 12 week old Teddypoos (shihtzu/bichon/poodle) who are ready for their furever families!
Both kids are working on potty training and socializing and will need continued work in their new homes.

Toshi and Tomo's foster, Janae, has this to say:
"Tashi is definitely a sassy pants lol
I don’t think Tomo knows he can speak yet but Tashi takes care of it for him. Tomo is a bit more shy so far."

Their adoption fees are $500 and includes all up to date vaccinations for distemper/parvo and bordatella. Lifetime registered microchip, certified vet inspection, preventative treatments for fleas/ticks/ worms, and a spay/neuter certificate to cover the cost of neuter/spay for when of age at Animal Hospital of Chetek or Animal Hospital North in Rice Lake

Had a busy week this past week watching the boarding kennels along with grooming! It's always a fun change of pace, but I'm happy to have Shelby and David back to take over.

Struggling to entertain your pups in this extreme cold? Puzzle toys, treat toys and lick matts are all great activities to stimulate your dogs and burn off some of that energy.

Another trick for the upcoming holiday gatherings- premade lick matts for you pups! We had 4 dogs at our house over thanksgiving and having premade lick matts helped minimize the at the table begging while we enjoyed our meal!
