OK so I know this has been a long time coming........ The proudest day in the show scene for us so far was awarding our 1st ever Kelson Rottweilers Champion Medal to Solo, Ethan and Selina. Right from a baby the connection between handler and dog in the ring was amazing to watch and just as much so was the love between a boy and his mummy outside of it, a fabulous team and one heck of an achievement to reach in Solo's 1st year in the ring.
A bit of a photo drop but here are some of my favourite pics.
This boy has a beautiful soul, loving eyes and the most amazing temperament. Ethan and Selina, with out you this would not be possible, we appreciate all you have done for this boy. Love you Solo, and as always, May The Force Be With You.

We have a few posts to catch up on but before anything else we would like to pay tribute to these two beautiful ladies who we will miss dearly.
Cat and her beautiful daughter Maddi have supported us right from the beginning, whenever we had babies they would come out for cuddles, Maddi would give one or two a bottle and pick her favourite, Cat would say that there is no ugly ones they were all 'delish'. The photo of Cat is when she was flying with a puppy down south for us, as we were taking the photo she told me if his new people were 'dicks' he would be coming back home with her ..... would she really? Those that knew Cat, 100% she would! 'Well, they weren't dicks, dad is so in love already, I hope he shares the cuddles' was her response. Maddi's most favourite was always little Skywalker and I had told Cat that we were having a photoshoot and asked her to come out so Maddi and Sky could have some done together, such a sweet moment and captured beautifully.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to Cat and Maddi's families for their tragic loss 💔

Finally had sunshine, Mandy and the puppies were able to spend some time outside.
Puppies will be 6 weeks old tomorrow.

There is not a word to describe how proud we are of SOLO, Ethan and Selina right now after their amazing results last weekend at the Franklin KA & Ladies KA shows. Having only just moved from puppy class up to junior class Solo came away with.....

Along with 3x Best of Breeds and 1x Reserve of Breed.

Our sincere thanks to the judges that awarded Solo over the weekend - John & Lianne Rowles (NSW), Glenn Wilshier (QLD), Blake Wistuba (NSW), and Keith Brown (NZ).

And of course many thanks to all the friends and family that have been there to support Solo and his mummy n daddy throughout his 1st year in the ring 🥰.

Our Kelson Rottweilers team had a very successful day at the specialty shows in Auckland a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't be prouder of each one of them. 'Strong is the force' you could say.

I'll start with Obiwan, he definitely earned his own post. Obi led Kelly out in front, showed drive and when needed he kept his focus on me with the help of his pig of course, he worked hard and ended the day with fantastic results.

At the Huntly & District KA shows a few weekends ago he was awarded Puppy of Group both days.

Little Wicket was loving all the attention she got at Bunnings yesterday when we took her in to meet Dave at the trade counter. Dave is a big Star Wars fan and one of Kelson's biggest supporters who is always more than happy to help out.
Thank you to PN Bunnings who have always accepted us bringing our dogs through for training.

Another sad day for us at Kelson yesterday as we helped dear old Ruby on her way to the stars. Always jumping up and down in water or playing with a ball was Ruby, an absolute blessing for us to have in our lives 💔

As a member of The Rottweiler Club it's so awesome to see our President and his family getting out and about supporting the breed and charities. Ethan and Selina along with their boy Solo (Kelson The Empire Strikes Back) were at the Dirty Dog Challenge today for the Waikato pound pups who were raising money for desexing and microchipping.
Brilliant ambassadors, keep up the great work.

Solo made us very proud last weekend at the Horowhenua KA Shows, he gained his first Dog CC, a Best of Breed and also a Puppy in Group.
Many thanks to his mummy/manager Selina Clarke and daddy/handler Ethan Clarke and of course 'the village' and his other Nanny's n Poppa's who all have a positive influence on the cool little character that Solo is. 🤎🖤🤎

Sad time at Kelson as we had to farewell the big fella yesterday 💔. Jedi has been a big part of our journey and will always be deeply missed.
Our thoughts are with our son and daughter in law, Dylan and Shannon who have shared their home and lives with Jedi over the past few years, and not forgetting his little black n tan sister Mace, you are and always will be Jedi's whole world.
Rest in love Jedi 💕
