A sad announcement today
Today, my family dog Woody closed his eyes for the last time, and made his way over rainbow bridge. You made it all the way to 13, but I still wish we could have forever with you. I will miss you everyday. You really were the best boy in the world

🐶 What to look out for when choosing a dog Walker! 🐶

Choosing someone to walk your dog is never an easy decision, because you want to make sure your animals are in safe hands so both you and your pets feel comfortable and happy.
Here are some top tips for things to look for when choosing someone to care for your animals!

⭐️ Insurance! One of the most important things, always make sure your chosen dog Walker is fully insured!
⭐️ Training, whether this is through online courses or 1-2-1 courses, it’s always great to make sure you are picking someone who is well trained!
⭐️ Experience, although everyone has to start somewhere, it’s always reassuring to know that you have chosen someone who is experienced handling dogs, has experience in lots of different scenarios, and has lots of knowledge on how to run a dog walking business!
⭐️ A safe vehicle! Always double check that your animals are being transported in a safe and secure way, and also always make sure this vehicle is insured to transport animals to!
⭐️ A safe and secure place to store your keys. If you are giving someone access to your house with keys, always ensure they have somewhere safe and secure to put these so you know they won’t be going missing!
⭐️ Appropriate forms. It’s extremely important you have met your chosen dog Walker prior to agreeing to any work, and with this comes all the forms! These can be anything from consent forms, to emergency contact forms, to off lead forms. Never just pass over your dog without going through all the important things!!

And lastly, trust! It’s always scary leaving your animals in the hands of someone else but with these top tips, you can make sure your mind is at ease when picking someone to care for them 🫶🏽🐶

I am now fully booked for solo 1-2-1 walks but I have spaces available for social dogs who are able to be walked alongside other dogs.

I own a professional dog walking, and all walks will be held in a secure field so no recall is required, all that’s required is social, friendly, no reactive dogs!!

And that’s a wrap!

I still can’t quite believe we have reached the end of 2023!
What an absolutely amazing year 2023 has been for Tail of a time. It’s been jam packed with fun, adventures, mud and a whole load of poo but I’ve loved every minute🤎

Thank you to all my clients who keep me so busy, and who have also spoiled me this Christmas. I feel like a very lucky dog walker.
I am now finished for Christmas and will return to work on January 8th 2024.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year!
