Our beloved beautiful Jinx has been found and now she's safe and sound at home. Today her health condition will be assessed by her vet, but we can tell she's fine, and even tougher than before. We wonder where she had been and what she's seen during her 2 months away, but we are too happy, too grateful to dwell on such thoughts. She came back, on a tree, in a dark crossroads between lonely paths. We have our best days ahead to look forward to 🐾👣

Se trovate un gatto vagante, a meno che non sia in pericolo immediato (per es. vicino ad una strada ad alto scorrimento), il mio consiglio è di non prelevarlo. Potrebbe essere della zona, abituato a entrare ed uscire di casa.
Su questo argomento ci sono diverse correnti di pensiero, secondo la legge tuttavia un animale domestico è paragonabile ad una cosa materiale con tutti i doveri e le responsabilità del caso.
Se un gatto/cane vagante crea danno a terzi, il padrone dovrà risarcire suddetto danno. Se qualcuno sottrae il gatto di proprietà è punibile secondo la legge poichè ha commesso furto. Questo però se il gatto ha il microchip!

Una cosa concreta che si può fare per aiutare, è stare nella zona e cercarne il proprietario, oppure rallentare quelle maledette auto se vedete un animale in mezzo alla strada, sia esso gatto, cane, riccio, cinghiale, unicorno ecc.

Se qualcuno ha preso in buona fede un gatto, deve accertarsi che questo abbia un padrone prima di appropriarsene, o cederlo. Si può andare da un veterinario e, gratuitamente, far controllare che il microchip sia presente. Scrivete il codice che vi darà il vet, sarà utile per cercare su Internet il proprietario. In maniera autonoma si può anche accedere inserendo il codice del microchip nella Banca dati dell Anagrafe Animali d' Affezione ( https://www.salute.gov.it/anagcaninapublic_new/home.jsp ) e visualizzare dati come: la regione di appartenenza dell animale, il comune di appartenenza, e le caratteristiche principali del gatto (che ahime, non sempre fanno testo, poichè la persona che fisicamente iscrive l'animale certe volte ci mette proprio della fantasia eh), ma non il nome del proprietario per motivi di privacy.
Inoltre un consiglio ai proprietari! Accertatevi sempre 2, 3, 4, 70 volte, che il gatto sia *davvero* iscritto. Dopo aver svolto le pratiche all ASL di competenza, andate a cercarne Il numero sul sito dell Anagrafe ufficiale.

In questo mese di ricerca ho letto tante cose, tanti smarrimenti e ritrovamenti, tanti da farmi pensare che è teribilmente ingiusto che Jinx, invece, ancora non si trova. Ma anche tanti che, come me, da subito scrivono "scomparso" perché sanno che qualcosa non quadra. E come me, sono li che aspettano.
Ho avuto delle segnalazioni che non sono andate a buon fine, che mi hanno dato enormi mal di pancia ma sono molto grata a chi vede e contatta. Io spero ancora, spero, spero spero 🍀🐈

After a great deal of thought I deemed Syn unfit for breeding in my program.
She's healthy, fully tested and vet checked ✅ she'll leave spayed of course 😊
She's located in Italy 🇮🇹 but I can do a leg of the journey if someone's interested in a sweet-tempered purebred pet Bengal cat, no problem.
