As a non-profit Mercer Humane Society relies on donations from individuals and corporations to assist the cats and dogs under our care and find them forever homes. Employees brought donations of CASH, pet food, treats, toys, and supplies. There were games to be played and ice cream to eat.
Mercer Humane brought multiple cats and dogs that are currently up for adoption! The location was stunning and the weather was perfect. A fun time was had by all.

Also, Thank You to all the volunteers that came out to support Mercer Humane.

Meet Hankie! He needs a medical foster home because he needs extra TLC and help. This 10 to 12 week old kitten was dropped at our office yesterday injured, in pain, and not happy. He went to Commonwealth for exam and this poor kitten has a fractured pelvis. He is in need of a temporary foster home to provide more attention, help, observation, and pain meds, so he can restore and heal. A bit of extra attention and love wouldnโ€™t hurt this baby. His pelvis should heal quickly if activity is limited - his bones are growing!!! But he needs extra care for now.

If any of our friends and supporters have empty Tidy Cats plastic buckets they are discarding or donโ€™t need - please save them for us to use at the kennel. Donโ€™t toss them away!!! We have need for many many of them continuously!
If you can drop them off at the office at 165 Eminence Ave in Harrodsburg - the blue house - we would so appreciate it!!!
