✨Spreading Awareness: It's Okay to Ask for Help✨

Having my drink spiked at 42 was a shock to the system—physically and mentally. My bestie and I were aware within 10mins and we got away safely, but the after effects have continued and I've not been able to care for my animals the way they deserve. I didn't even know who had water… and that hurts.

But here’s the thing: I’m not alone. I’m beyond grateful for the incredible friends who’ve stepped in and helped me out. They’ve been there when I’ve needed them most, and that support is EVERYTHING.

As a keeper with a large collection, it’s a huge commitment. But sometimes, you need to recognise when it’s time to ask for help. That doesn’t make you weak, or a failure, or anything negative. It makes you human. It makes you a responsible keeper.

If you’re ever in a similar spot, don't be afraid to reach out. It’s okay to lean on others when life hits you hard. You don’t have to do it all alone. 💙
