Heron Way Community Allotment Association HWCAA aims to provide local people accessible active learning in horticulture/farming/allotment keeping whilst improving quality of the urban environment

We are currently on site at a underused allotment owned by the London Borough of Hounslow at F***s Road/Heron Way, Feltham - future partners are Hounslow Foodbank and MINDFOOD - and you come and join us!

HWCAA is an open access allotment for all the community. No matter your skill set, time commitment or availability - everyone is equal and welcome here. The Allotment has a number of chemical free growing beds and poly-tunnel so you can experience growing from seed right the way through, some livestock, orchard trees, summer fruits, herbs, flowers and all the wildlife that goes with them. There are hives on site managed by a professional bee-keeper. We are generally around during the weekends Sat 11-4 and same on Sundays but leave a message for us on Facebook as we do pop down there at impromptu times during the week so can meet you and orient you and get you started. There's no pressure to do it "the right way" as nature has no right or wrong ways it's just nature...sometimes things grow well sometimes they don't but learning and experiencing it is where it's at....

So if you are all fingers and thumbs or green fingered impresario come on down and join us. Annual Membership is £20
£2.00 for your plate donation
