Week 3 in Vilamoura was another good one 🥰

Kevin was 3rd in the 1.20 on Friday 🥉 Saturday he got another win 🥇 and Sunday another 3rd 🥉

Leo had 4 faults on Friday placing 12th. Saturday also won his class 🥇 and Sunday…. Well let’s just say he forgot his springs 🫠

Overall a really great weekend with good results. So pleased with how the boys are jumping and hopefully going in to another successful weekend 🤞🏻

Thank you to everyone for the support at home, it doesn’t go unnoticed 🥰 And of course to everyone who has come out to see us / help us!

Week 2 in Villamoura was a mixed one for us.

Friday the weather was horrendous and the fences were blowing down as we entered the arena. They both ended up picking up faults in their classes.

On Saturday Kevin was back on form gaining his second international win 🥇 Sunday saw more awful weather, with the horses puddle jumping between fences. Kevin jumped a nice round with a very unusual time fault placing him 4th overall.

Leo had an off day on Saturday, forgetting to pick up his feet in the jump off but redeemed himself on Sunday with his first win of the tour 🥇

It’s been a very busy few months for Team Champfleurie and quite some time since I’ve updated my page, so here is a little summary of the last few months 🙈

First off, we were at Hopetoun for the BE100 with Leo getting a great dressage score of 28.8 and placing 4th.

Then on to the highland show where both boys jumped great. Leo was places 4th in the HOYS workers class on Thursday and Kevin was in the finals of the Foxhunter and Classic classes, just having an unfortunate pole in each.

Leo also jumped clear at the HOYS Workers at the Scottish Horse Show a few weeks later.

Then on to Forgandenny BE100 with another good score of 28.8 and 6th final.

We qualified for the BE100 Regional Championships at Hopetoun and placed 6th with a dressage score of 33.5 (66%)

Kevin made a trip to HOWE with a double clear and a win in the Foxhunter 🥇

Then on to our favourite show of the year, Blair Horse Trials. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side, making the ground conditions really tricky. Leo did a lovely dressage test with 29.5 (70%) but had a little run out on the course and we decided to pull him from the show jumping due to the ground. Leo also did some show jumping, coming 5th in the 1.10 and Kevin was placed 6th in Foxhunter.

Overall, the boys have been on top form this season and I’m so pleased with how they have been going. Leo has really taken to his new career in BE and we are having lots of fun 🥰

Now, it’s preparation for our journey to Villamoura in a few weeks and we cannot wait to get away from this weather and in to the sunshine ☀️

Last weekend took us to Fife show in the sun ☀️

Kevin gaining another Highland show ticket for 2nd place in the foxhunter 🥰

Leo was also out at Floors Castle doing the BE100. Our best dressage of 26, clear s/j but Sadly having at stop at the water. More water practice for us and next stop is Belsay 🤞

Team Champfleurie have had a busy few weeks. Both boys have been out competing at various different venues and jumping really well with some good results. This weekend took us to Tillyoch where Kevin gained his ticket for the highland show winning the RHS Classic 🥇

Leo did his first BE100 at Kirriemuir with a good dressage test and clear show jumping, just an unfortunate few stops round the XC but it was a big ask and I was super proud of him 😍

16hh 6yr old TB chestnut gelding. This boy has the most gentle temperament, easy going with a big heart to please. Works well on the flat and loves jumping. He has done show-jumping, xc & WH upto 80cm. Will happily hack out. Not spooky or sharp. Good manners in and out of stable. He goes in a mixed field. Easy to shoe, clip & load. He is eligible for ROR. Been off the track since 2020. Fully vaccinated. Upto date with teeth. Comes with his full wardrobe and tack. He has been seen to wind suck.

Team Champfleurie have had a busy few weeks with the horses out doing various things 🥳

We were at Hopetoun Horse Trials where Leo made his debut at his first BE event and was 4th in the BE90. Erin did a lovely test and was clear showjumping but we had a small misunderstanding on the XC course 🙈

Then we headed to Blair Horse Trials where we had a brilliant weekend ☀️ On Thursday Erin was 🥉 in the HOYS Working Hunter. Leo also did the HOYS Class. Unfortunately he had a stop at the first fence but then took to it like a boss with one fence down. I was super pleased with him considering how little he has done in the Workers ring.
Over the weekend both Leo and Kevin jumped the Fox Hunter Classes with really good rounds. Leo was placed 2nd on Saturday. Kev jumped a great round in the Accumulator Class on Sunday, just taking the joker at the end. And last but not least, Erin did a really good test and double clear in the BE90 for 🥈

Overall I could not have asked for more out of all the horses and we had a brilliant weekend 🥰

Team Champfleurie had a wonderful time at the Royal Highland Show 🐴

Thursday morning saw Erin and Leo in the HOYS Working Hunter class. Both horses had a few down in a very tricky, technical course. Leo excelled himself given this was his second ever Working Hunter course 😍

Friday, Leo was in the Main ring for the Mini Major class which was great fun. We were patterned with Nicole Cairns and were placed 5th.

On Saturday, Kev made his first appearance in the Show Jumping ring for the Foxhunter Final where he had an unfortunate pole but jumped very well and soaked up the atmosphere like a pro 😍

And finally, Sunday Kev was placed 6th in the RHS Classic Final jumping a beautiful double clear!

It’s been so nice to be back to the show, the crowds and the atmosphere!

This weekend had the team running all over to get two horses in two locations with just one rider on Saturday. First off, Erin had her first BE event of the year at Hopetoun Horse Trials and was placed 5th 🤩 and then we headed over to Morris where Kev jumped the Newcomers second rounds and was placed 7th just having a unlucky fence in the second round! Thank you to the whole team who made it possible 🥰 Feel so grateful for all the help, the continued support and the best horses!

Our time in Olivia Nova has come to an end and I could not be happier with the way the boys have jumped 🥰

Last week we upped our game and went in to the 1.30 classes with some unlucky 4 faults. This week we did the 1.20 classes again gaining some more placings - Kevin was 2nd on Thursday, 2nd yesterday and Leo was 4th on Friday 🥳

Tomorrow we head over to Belgium 🇧🇪 to the Sentower Show for the weekend before starting our journey back home!

First weekend of jumping in Olivia Nova and the boys did me proud. Leo was 3rd in the 1.20 on Saturday and Kevin 4th in the 1.20 on Sunday 🥰

Leo then celebrated yesterday with a little wander on the beach! It was absolute bliss 🤩

Our first day of jumping at Olivia Nova has started well with Leo winning the 1.20 class today🥇🥳

Kev jumped a brilliant, quick round in the 1.20 too but unfortunately had 4 faults.

Hopefully we can continue to produce some double clears for the remainder of the show.

We had another successful outing with the two boys, Leo and Kev, at Howe last weekend 😍

Both boys jumped beautiful double clears. Leo was placed 4th in the Classic on Saturday, just missing out on his RHS ticket and Kev won the Foxhunter class on Sunday gaining another RHS ticket 🥇🤩

This was the perfect set up for our next tour as we have started our journey to Olivia Nova in Spain for a few weeks of jumping in the sun ☀️

2022 has gotten off to a good start for Team Ogilvie. The first few outings with the two boys bagged us double clears and some places.

Two weeks ago we went to Tillyoch for the RHS Classic qualifier where Kevin missed out on his ticket by one place coming 3rd 🥉

Last weekend we were at SNEC where Leo jumped the RHS Foxhunter with an unfortunate pole in the jump off and Kevin was 2nd in RHS Classic 1.20 gaining his RHS ticket 😍

And last but very not least, this weekend we were at the RHS show ground for the Arena Event with Erin. Her first outing since Blair and she won both the 1m and 1.10 classes 🥇🥇🤩 Huge thanks to Equi-hub Scotland & loch leven vets who sponsored these classes with great prizes.

And as always, massive thank you to my team at the shows, at home and day to day - it wouldn’t be possible without your continued support 🥰
