PittieLove Rescue, Inc. 501c3 non-profit Pit Bull rescue organization-finding dogs their best homes-MA-Lic #0155 PittieLove Rescue, Inc.

is an all-volunteer, foster-home-based rescue dedicated to the care, understanding, and adoption of Pit Bull Terrier type dogs. PittieLove’s primary goal is to ensure that our rescued dogs will never again suffer from abuse or neglect. We work diligently to carefully place them into loving homes where, for all of their remaining years, they will experience the affection and kindness that has been

so sorely absent from their lives. Working closely with animal shelters, animal control facilities and rescue organizations and volunteers throughout New England, we strive to save as many dogs as our resources will allow. All dogs who successfully pass our temperament evaluation are placed into loving foster homes where they are provided with quality veterinary care, initial training, and extensive socialization (with both people and animals of all ages). All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped prior to adoption. As experienced Pit Bull parents, all of our volunteers are happy to assist potential fosters and adopters with any questions or concerns they may have at every stage of each of our dogs’ lives, and beyond. Potential adopters are provided with applicable information relating to the specific dog that they are interested in. Although we do not accept dogs into our program that show aggression toward other dogs, we prefer to place our rescued dogs as only pets or with a compatible dog of the opposite sex.¹

Our strict adoption policies include, but are not limited to, a comprehensive application process (with personal and vet reference checks), an initial phone screen, and a home visit. Please read our Adoption Policies on our website for more detailed information.

¹ It is important to distinguish the difference between dog/animal aggression and human aggression. Human aggression is not a normal trait of pit bull-type dogs.

Captain Now Zeke Has Found His Forever Voyage! 🐾⚓

This sweet senior boy came to us through Natick Animal Control after his previous owner sadly became homeless. In stepped our amazing foster duo, Tom & Michelle (their 80th foster—wow!), who opened their home and hearts to Zeke for just one week.

While under the loving care of the team at Thrive Veterinary, Zeke met his soon-to-be mom. The spark was instant. Later, she returned with the whole crew—including senior pup Nala—and it was a full-on love fest at his foster home!

Now Zeke has officially set sail to his forever home with Mom Cadence, Dad Joe, and his furry big sister, Nala (though camera-shy Zeke chose not to look at the camera! 💕)

We’re beyond grateful to this incredible family for opening their hearts to a senior dog in need. Thank you for giving Zeke the happy ending he so deserves—you truly are heroes!

Brynn, now Penny, goes home! This sleek stunner came to us from our friends after being found as a stray. You may recognize her beautiful face from her television debut with the incredible Ray Villeda on Boston 25! ❤️
Amazing PLR adopter turned foster extraordinaire Cheryl and her sidekick Peanut gave this sweet youngin a safe, comfortable place to land and learn to dog. While in foster, Pennys true personality started to shine through- she learned that she absolutely loves the company of other dogs and kiddos, doesn’t love her crate (hey, a girl can’t be perfect all the time), and absolutely adores cuddles. Luckily for Penny, forever parents Joe and Alicia were looking for a snuggle bug to complete their family. This little lady met her forever family, and it was love at first sight for all! Here she is with her proud pawrents, four-legged Boston, and two-legged sisters Sloan and Braley. Penny’s smile says it all! Happiest life romping through the waves in your new home! We love you, baby girl! ❤️

Introducing Theia! This goddess of light and silver (seriously, her coat sparkles silver) came to us from our friends at Boston Animal Care and Control after being found as a stray. Many thanks to brand new PLR foster Jeff and family for giving this shiny land seal a warm, safe space to land. Fondly referred to as a “snuggle dumpling extraordinaire”, Theia is happiest when she’s with her people! She loves nothing more than to melt into your lap and allow you to stroke her velvety soft coat. She’s also a big fan of leash walks, happily prancing alongside her pack, taking in all the sights and sniffs. If given the choice between fetch and snuggles, however, this pittie princess will choose snuggles every single time. She’s basically a living weighted blanket ♥️ Theia gives car rides two paws up- politely curious about what’s going on around her and secretly holding out for the yummy treat at the end of the ride. If you haven’t caught the gist, this girl lives for cuddles, people and treats. If you and your family have plenty of cuddles and love to share with this amazing land seal, head right on over to www.PittieLoveRescue.org and fill out an adoption application!

Introducing Captain! This frosty faced cutie came to us from our friends at Natick Animal Control when his owner was no longer able to care for him. Amazing longtime PittieLove fosters Michelle and Tom immediately opened their home to give this senior boy a soft place to land. Captain is every bit of the best things we love about senior dogs! He’s a go with the flow, easy going, all around lovable kinda guy! Seniors are just the best- all Captain needs is a soft space to snuggle up, someone to take him on short walks, and two yummy meals a day, with plenty of treats snuck in between! This distinguished gentleman enjoys the company of all that he has met- human and canine alike! As long as there’s a soft spot for him to hunker down and be near you, this guys a happy camper! If you and your family have room in your home and heart to give the sweetest older gentleman a soft, cozy and loving place to spend his golden years- Captains your guy!

Introducing Rory! This stunning red/greyish brindle pup with a perfect pittie smile came to us from our friends after being found as a stray. Many thanks to new PittieLove foster Keri for springing this sweet youngin from the shelter and giving him a safe space to be a puppy. Rory is every bit of a quintessential pittie pup- he loves leash walks with his people and can zoomie at lightning speed around the yard. He’s discovering the joys of wooded hikes and is learning that splashing around in the water at the beach is great fun! Like most pups, Rory loves to chew. Yak chews, bully sticks, antlers, toys, the occasional sneaker 😳, you name it, this guy loves chewing it! By the time he’s run the gamut of activities, this sweet guy crashes hard in the evening for a long snooze complete with content pittie snores. Rory is also as smart as he is cute! He mastered the paw command within days and is working hard to learn as much as he can! Rory’s dream family would be an active one with older children and a resident pup to help him continue to learn the ropes. If you and your family are looking to grow by one adorable, adventurous, and spunky boy, look no further than Rory! Head right on over to www.PittieLoveRescue.org and fill out an adoption application.
