A family member or guardian registers their person with cognitive challenges through the link, or in person, at your nearest police department. This information is now part of the statewide Bring Me Back Home registry. Law enforcement officers will have access to the confidential and secure information and respond appropriately. When the person wanders or is missing, individuals should call 9-1-1 IMMEDIATELY, and indicate that they are registered with the Bring Me Back Home program.

Purple Ark Rescue & Sanctuary

We have been doing private rescue out of our home for 20 yrs. We take in elderly and/or ailing dogs as space permits. The minute we take one in, he or she becomes family and will live with us until the Good Lord calls them home. We DO NOT adopt out. We form very strong bonds with our rescues over the course of treating and rehabilitating them. As a result we feel placing them after all that would shake their sense of security. They have already been through so much before they reach us, it simply doesn’t feel right to us. It’s a personal choice.
