🐾 Distraction-Proof Your Dog’s Training! 🐾

Training your dog to listen with distractions is all about starting small. Begin practicing in a calm, quiet environment where your dog can focus on you. Once they’ve mastered that, slowly add distractions like a toy on the floor, a treat in your other hand, or a family member walking by.

Building up distractions at home is key! It helps your dog learn to filter out the noise and focus on you before going out in to the real world. Take your time, taking it slow will give much more time for the good behaviour to build!

With time and patience, your pup will learn that listening to you is always their best choice, even in a world full of exciting distractions! 🐶🙌

Last class with the puppies this week! For the last one we worked on learning give paw, and everyone got it! We even tried touch and high five to take it up a notch 😊. Everyone was so good for their graduation pictures, and little Murphy won the musical sits game!
‼️Graduation certificates will be sent out by the end of the week with graduation pictures ‼️

Final week for the Middle School boys! Lando, Bagel, Louis and Rupert all got their certificates 🥳. We worked on some mobility tricks and had some more fun games for the last one! Bruce couldn't make the last one but he sends his love to everyone!

The middle school boys all did great again last night! Little Rupert played catch up from missing last week, and he did all the activities so well 👏. We had fun going through the tunnel, and we had a mini competition to see who could hold a stay the longest, and everyone did really well! Little Bagel couldn't make it, but he will be back to join next week 😊🐾
