Newborn at home so the dog has to go .
For those who give up their dogs when they have a baby, I'm posting this photo of a family whose 15-year-old Jack Russel Terrier is treated as one of the children (because he was their first child) and who is the protector of his two human brothers and sisters.
Never use the excuse that you had to let your dog go because you have a baby in the family and the doctor advised you blah blah blah and other lame excuses.
Never abandon your pets. They are family 😍

I love this wee man! He's such a cruise! This was last month, but Blue Mist Magic Phoenix is now 7 months. A brick, and a real cool dude. He's a keeper! Will take more pics today. He's grown and filled out heaps.
He's a cross of two fantastic Dexter lines which we've been trying to achieve.

Halter breaking our youngstock.. Two or seven months, one is 5 1/2 months, and one is only about a month and a half. They don’t have any problem now with having to put on, being tied up, and two of them had were led out to grass today. Together. One, the young bull that I’m keeping, and his seven month old sister. I LOL wish I could’ve gotten footage of them, but it was a bit of a challenge. They were pretty good overall.

I feel like I can finally BREATHE! I have just sent my upcoming book Modern Equine Dentistry for Horse Owners out to a BUNCH of reviewers, both vets and horse owners! It has been a long six months!

I’m about to collapse for half an hour before I fall into bed.
I just need to finish the back matter and then it’s off.
I’m so so glad I’m a Self Published Author already. This would’ve been really really hard.
And then I get to format the paperback and the hardcover and get them all loaded up!

I think I only have half of my brains left, the rest have been spilled out onto all these pages.

Good morning everyone! On this chilly autumn NZ day!
This little Fantail spend a lot of time in the house. I don’t know if it’s a he or a she, because they are sexually non-dimorphic, whatever that word is meant to be, but it comes in most days and makes a lot of noise and sits, flits, and talks to us from the chain by the lamp over the table. it spent last night in my bedroom. It didn’t want to go outside, found a nice warm place to perch for the night. Such happy cherry little birds.
Found this wonderful article today by NZ Geo. Renewing my war on rats. Living between a river and a stream, we have plenty of them. I’d like to think I can make a difference in the population.
