Austin Bulldog Rescue’s mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find loving and knowledgeable families for rescued English Bulldogs. We rescue bulldogs from animal shelters, other rescue groups and from owners who can no longer properly care

for their English Bulldog. Upon intake, we place each bulldog into a foster home that has been pre-approved and fully prepared to care for the specific needs of each bulldog. We provide and fund ALL health care needs for each bulldog while in our foster’s care…including medications, surgeries, vaccinations, preventatives, supplements and of course, spay and neuter. When healthy, happy and ready, each bulldog is matched with a pre-approved family and if all parties agree it is truly a perfect match, the bulldog is adopted into their furever home.

Today we get to share something incredibly special.

G Bear is home.

Not a temporary home. Not a stepping stone. Not a place to rest until the next chapter begins.

He is home for good.

He is home with the family who took him in on day one. The family who watched him grow, who learned his heart, who stood beside him through the quiet days and the uncertain ones. The family who never asked him to be anything other than who he is.

Yes, G Bear is a foster fail. And for Bear, that means something profound.

We can’t get over this beautiful boy and how he’s just not scooped up yet.

Tamale just finished his neuter surgery and recovering so well. His potty training has tremendously improved and we are learning he is not just a pretty boy but a smart one too when it comes to learning his manners.

He has so much goofy energy and is overall is just such a happy dog that you can’t help but fall in love with. He seems to genuinely radiate happiness even though he wasn’t dealt all the lucky cards in his life and just wants to be close to his people.

Like we said it’s impossible not to fall for this sweet, loving boy. Tamale is ready for a forever home where he can keep blossoming and be someone’s constant little shadow.
