Coco :

RODIN! Courtesy Post! Rodin is in need of a new home.

Rodin is a male Siberian Husky, about 65 pounds and four years old. All of his vaccinations are up to date, he is microchipped and he is neutered.

Rodin is a super special guy. He wakes up every morning more excited to be alive than the day before, and his playful, goofy, and fun-loving energy keeps everyone around him laughing. You simply cannot take life too seriously around this dog. While his enthusiasm isn’t for all critters, most dogs can’t resist playing with him. On a leash, he can be a little reactive (wants to play with other dogs & chase squirrels), but off-leash, he’s a dog’s dog and could play for hours. His ideal companion-dog would have a similar level of energy/enthusiasm or quite the opposite— possibly an older dog that can teach him more about life. This guy is eager to learn and learns quick.

As you probably know, urban environments are sometimes not a good fit for dogs of this breed, and Rodin is no exception. His ideal environment is somewhere outside the city where he can let his curiosity and enthusiasm guide him through each day. He loves to gallivant, sniff, hop, roll, romp, jump, snooze, and sometimes get in arguments with his tail. His ideal exercise isn’t the man-made kind, it’s the wild-man kind.

While he’s undergone extensive training (a six week board & train), learned many tricks (shake, speak, roll over, bang/play dead, touch, spin, and place), and has completely mastered “leave it”, Rodin is happiest with lots of freedom and room to roam; it’s just who he is. He is still working on not pulling while on leash.

His current owner loves him dearly and is committed to finding him a home that can better meet his needs. He is here to answer any/all questions and looks forward to connecting with you.

*Rodin is not suited for a home with cats or small animals that could be mistaken for prey. Chickens and other livestock are fine as long as he or they are confined to an area.

HOME! Miss Minnie was adopted a bit ago, we did not get an adoption day photo to capture the moment but here she is in her home and we are delighted she is so well loved with her most patient adopter!

Cecil is an adorable, friendly, happy, curious, affectionate, energetic dog who strongly desires to please. He is playful, is motivated by treats, and enjoys learning new skills. He's doing well learning to sit and stay. He's great on the leash (sometimes gets distracted by squirrels). He is a very active companion who needs regular exercise and mental stimulation. He's been a great little brother to his foster’s elderly black lab.
