DO YOU KNOW WHAT MYCELIUM IS …

Mycelium, or mycorrysis, is a fungus that expands underground, creating a network of connections between all plant species, something like the Internet, which allows them not only to communicate, but also to take care of themselves, protect themselves, and feed themselves. Stock up on the water
When a tree in the forest is cut down, this mycelium communicates to too many trees in the forest that one of them is dying and all the other trees through the mycelium begin to care for the remaining trunk to try to save that life. They feed it with water and protect it because that dying trunk is part of the forest family.
Everything has a language. It is the universal language.
We learn to reconnect with this non-verbal language, understanding that we are all part of the same thing.
We still have a lot to learn from our older brothers, from the trees and the forest and above all from Our Mother Earth.

Very excited to announce we are carrying products from a local artist.These are all handmade with love . There is also a very important purpose behind this project, Robert Gaige is a dedicated humanitarian, and all of his proceeds from all of his artwork go into making packs filled with basic needs to hand out to homeless individuals, when they are at their lowest, giving them a small sense of hope when they need it most. I am also a very lucky girl to call this wonderful humanitarian my dad 💚 Love you pops and thank you for all your love and support!! There will be a variety to choose from when we open up shop 💚🍄💚🍄💚

Good morning and happy Tuesday! I wanted to take a minute and introduce our selves. We are David and Angela owners and operators of Boise Mushroom Co! We met in the start of the pandemic when I was managing a garden shop and he would come into get supplies for his garden. The only customer that could hold an intelligent conversation about plants and he had quite the knowledge on how to grow. It blossomed from there, feeling like we had known each other for years, quickly it developed into something both of us had never known, true love !! The rest is history in the making.
One night I came from work and he said " I think I am going to try to start growing mushrooms??"
I said "cool,really ??" LOL
This was completely different from what both of us were used to as far as growing was concerned. With in a few weeks he was up and going and starting to inoculate bags. It quickly grew and we started to think maybe just maybe this could turn into something , people were loving the mushrooms and he enjoyed "working". We decided to take a "Professional" go at this and turn it into our jobs. The ups and downs have been sometimes crazy and it has been a learning curve for sure but with the love and support we have for each other we are super excited to be opening our own shop and business. Cheers to all the people that have and continue to support us and we can't wait to see what this adventure will bring !!!

Hey hey hey everybody!!!!! Happy Friday!!! We are going to be doing our first ever live pop up marketing event today from 3 to 5 pm on Fairview in the Fairview plaza parking lot . The radio station is going to be there giving away Boise music tickets and it’s to help promote all the businesses that are in the shopping center. Hint hint …. This is where our shop will be !!!
We will be set up with a table by the radio station, giving out samples our cards, information and some fun stuff. Look for us in the Boise harbor freight parking lot today from 3 to 5 pm !!!

People ask me all the time how to prepare the mushrooms
These are shiitake that I stuffed with browned off breakfast sausage, mixed with onion and chive cream cheese, and an artichoke dip that I had in the fridge and topped with Parmesan baked at 400 for about 25 minutes .
