Good afternoon residents,

At 14h13 I recieved an update on the power line repair from the area supervisor, informing me that the repair will only be undertaken next week. I have included his message at the end of my message. The area supervisor has informed me there is no possibility of a temporary repair to assit the residents without power.

I have contact the provincial manager for Eskom requesting his intervention in expediting the repair and I am waiting for his reply.

I will provide further update when I recieve a responce from Eskom.

_Hi Alan I have a problem at Pennington, the bamboo damage 1 conductor yesterday when I send the team to pull that conductors they discovered that all 3 conductors are damage on the ground and the pole is damage now so I'm sitting with the problem that I don't have people over the weekend to assist I can able to start to organize next from Tuesday because the department that I will ask to assist is coming back Monday to work.
