Countryside Veterinary Dog Park is brought to you by Friends of Livingston Dog Parks (formerly known as Howl & Bark) in partnership with Howell Area Parks and Recreation Authority and Livingston County. Our beautiful 2.4 acre dog park is located at
400 S. Highlander Way in the City of Howell. It offers both
a large and small dog area with endless
opportunities to:
- Run, Play and Socialize wit
h other dogs and owners;
- Maintain healthy activity levels for your dog in a safe atmosphere,
and;
- Enhance our community and quality of life. Join our community! Your annual membership provides you with unlimited use of the park year round and access to tons of fun! To join, you'll need:
1. Proof of current Livingston County dog license(s);
2. Proof of vaccinations, specifically Rabies,
DHLPP (distemper), and Bordetella; and
3. Completed registration forms from:
www.howellrecreation.org/dog-park/
Take your dog license(s), vaccination records
and application form to the Bennett
Recreation Center at 925 W Grand
River in Howell. Cost: $70 for 1 year membership for up to 2 of your dogs. No partial year memberships. Renewal is $60 IF renewed prior to expiration of membership (put that date into your phone calendar) and you still possess your electronic FOB. FOLDP: The Friends of Livingston Dog Parks is dedicated to supporting, maintaining and advising on dog friendly and accessible areas in Livingston County. The Countryside Veterinary Dog Park is the premier area in the Livingston area, located on a 2.4 acre site on South Highlander Way. The Park features electronic fobbed access to both large and small dog areas for its members. There are two shelters within the Park.
