Today is International Dog Day!!!! Today we’re celebrating the dogs that are a part of the Robyn’s Nest family, Coco the brindle staffy mix (not yet up for adoption), Diesel the staffy Labrador mix foster carers Dan and Sof’s dog and Coco’s foster brother, Poppy the maremma who helps Kirsty with her fosters, Ava the brindle and white staffy cattle dog mix who helps Bree with her fosters and Jax the jack russell who helps Robyn feed the rescue farm animals.

Flame & Sooty have been looking for a home for most of this year with no success.
We are desperately needing a home for this handsome father and son as their current foster family is going away in mid September, and as they dont like other cats we do not have a suitable place for them to go 🥲

So we are putting the call out to you our valued supporters to share their profile around so we can hopefully find them a permanent home before their carers go away.

They are located in Warrnambool but if you need assistance with transport we are willing to work something out to get them to you.
Their adoption fee is only $100 for the pair ... thats only $50 each. What a bargain for a ready made feline family to keep you company and be your best pals.

PLEASE SHARE - Help find Joshua

Little Joshua is missing from Winter Valley Nozawa St area
He had only been at his new home after being adopted from Robyns Nest Animal Rescue for 6 days. It is believed he got out early last Sat 17th August.
He is desexed and microchipped. He may be a bit timid but is food orientated. He is approx 7 months old.
We are very concerned for his safety. If you are in the area can you please check your yards, garages and sheds. A cat trap is set in the property he went missing from.

Robyns Nest is looking for a new pet store adoption partner

Do you own or manage a pet store? Are you looking for a rescue group to join with you to have their cats and kittens instore for adoption?

After a wonderful 3 year partnership Troppo Fish and Pets have decided not to have cats instore anymore. We would like to thank Sarah & Jason for the wonderful opportunity to have our cats and kittens in store to help them find their forever homes.
During our partnership they helped us rehome over 300 cats which is amazing.

All good things must come to an end and we are now looking for someone who will help us and the cats and kittens we take in by offering up spaces in store for our fur babies who are looking for that special home.

Especially in kitten season we rely on having our cats somewhere that the public can meet them and engage with them to see if they are the right ones for their home.

Failing to find another store to take in our kitties will mean we will have to greatly reduce the number of cats / kittens we take in due to a slower adoption rate online.
So if you can help us find a suitable outlet or manage or own a store that would like to partner with us in our fight to find new homes for those who are facing an uncertain future we would love to hear from you.

Junie was rescued from death row at a regional pound, and upon arrival to us ended up very sick with cat flu.
We are happy to say that is all long behind her and now she is looking for a home of her own!

A big thank you to everyone who took part in our Stores for Paws Adoption Weekend.

Thanks to the staff at Bunnings Delecombe for allowing us to bring our kitties in to search for their forever homes.
We are happy to say we had 3 adoptions, a trial, and lots of enquiries!

Also a big thank you to Bree Cockayne and Felicity Cockyane for coming down from Melbourne yesterday with their fosters and running the day.

Come along to Bunnings Delacombe tomorrow from 11 till 3 for our adoption day! Meet Enchantress, (1st photo) Batman (2nd photo) , Dylan (3rd photo) , and Anxy (4th photo)!

Batman & Enchantress are brother and sister and are 8 months old, Anxy is 1 year 4 months and Dylan is 2 yrs 11 months.
We will also have a food donation bin there, and information on other kitties we have for adoption and ask us about foster caring!

We will have other cats and kittens available tomorrow and Sunday too. So come in and say hello to these fur babies and maybe take one home!
