Can you give this young ex mummy the love and forever home she deserves?

This stunning young mum made 3 perfect bubs but is looking to move on from her maternal duties and be doted on herself!

Pris is relaxed, affectionate, and loves people. In her foster home, she is confident and comfortable with the resident cats and rabbit, but doesn’t seem too keen on dogs. She seeks out pats and lap time, and loves a little chat.

🐷Rest In Peace Miss Piggy🐷

As I said in my post about Jade and Sheba last week things happen in 3's they say, well today we had our 3rd animal pass away unexpectedly.
Our quirky, funny, sweet pig Miss Piggy was bitten by a brown snake sometime between last night and 7am this morning. Myles went to feed her, she was in her shelter, he thought she was still asleep which is not like her.. normally at food time she would come running over eagerly anticipating what goodies daddy had for her.. but not this morning. He went to her shelter and moved her and a 4 -5 ft brown snake came from under her , still alive. We think the snake has taken shelter in her shelter, she has laid down and the snake has bitten her multiple times.
Miss Piggy was the only pig we have ever had. She moved in with us on 18th Jan 2017. We never knew how old she was or what breed , all we knew is that she had been impounded by Colac pound as she had been found wandering. Melb Pig Save told us about her and paid to get her out.

Never having had a pig before, and her being a female entire pig, we weren't quite sure what we were in for.. and not long after she joined us she came on heat.. her behavior was like that of a premenstrual woman... she broke up everything in her area, smashed through her pen fencing and decide to greet us at our front door , frothing from her mouth and gnashing her teeth. Luckily she was VERY food orientated and we were able to get her away from our door to get out.. get on the tractor and lead her back to her digs. She eventually went back in.. and the next day was back to her normal self. We wondered what we had let ourselves in for.

A phone call to Pam from Edgars Mission was the solution, female pigs go on heat around every 28 days, and like some human females, get very anxious beforehand. Over time she settled and we found with good food , her mood swings lessened. Not to say she would some times 'rearrange' the furniture in her area.

She was such a quirky girl. absolutely loved watermelon, pumpkin and most other things. She was a bit of a gardener too.. a pumpkin plant grew in her area once and she didnt eat it , she let it grow .. until it was time for another 'rearranging of the furniture' and that pumpkin plant just had to be eaten.

She loved a good scratch and pat, and would close her eyes and oink contentedly. Whenever she heard me coming she would trot over oinking, almost like she was saying hey mum give me a pat. When we rescued her from the pound she had no bristles on her skin, but after she was feed good food, they grew back. Everyone who came here loved Miss Piggy and couldn't believe the size of her. She was one big girl thats for sure. And boy was she smart.. Melb Pig Save and the people who found her , paid for special farm fencing with pins in it.. and she worked out if she got her snout underneath the fence in the right spot she could bust the pins out and get out whenever she wanted.

She would share her food too, our goats would jump in her area and she would let them share her food, well most of the time,, cept not her precious watermelon.

Its not going to be the same without our Miss Piggy. We hope you didnt suffer and left this earth peacefully. We were so happy to have saved you from a fate that would have been on someones plate, to let you live our your life with us for 8 years. We will never forget you and your passing has taken yet another piece of our hearts. Robyn & Myles and all your animal friends on the farm.

Meet Molly – The Sweetheart of Your Dreams!

Molly is a gentle and affectionate cat who radiates warmth with every purr. Her loving nature and fondness for cozy moments make her an ideal companion. Molly has a special fondness for having her ears rubbed, often purring in pure bliss as you give her the attention she craves. When she's not indulging in ear rubs, you’ll find her nestled comfortably on your lap, soaking in all the cuddles and love you have to offer.

Molly is wonderfully social and gets along with both other cats and dogs, making her an excellent addition to a multi-pet household. She’s easygoing and welcoming, ready to form friendships with everyone she meets. And when it comes to meals, Molly is simple and happy—she’s not picky as long as her food bowl is filled.

She was a young mum who is now seeking a family to let her continue to explore the joys of being an young adult

🚨 ATTENTION SEINFELD FANS AND CAT LOVERS 🚨

Meet Seven, the feline with a name so iconic that George Costanza himself would shout, “It’s a name… a name that stands alone!” Yes, Seven is here, and he’s ready to be the best decision you’ve ever made since switching to decaf.

Seven’s got a vibe. He’s mysterious, a little quirky, and prefers a life of serenity. Sure, he’s not a fan of being petted on his “tail end of the back” (who is?), but the rest of him is ALL about those gentle, loving touches. Think of him as the Newman of cats—complex, intriguing, but waaaay more lovable.

Adopting Seven means you get the ultimate conversational starter. “Oh, your cat’s name is Mittens? That’s cute. My cat is Seven—yeah, like the Seinfeld episode. No big deal.” 🐾

Seven is waiting for his Jerry, Elaine, or even his own Costanza. Our rescue team will even bring him to you because let’s face it, transporting your new best friend is the least we can do for a cat with such an independent streak.

So, what do you say? Are you ready to make your life 10x more interesting with a cat named Seven? Don’t let this moment of purr-fection slip away—adopt him today! 😻

P.S. You can also name your next baby Soda.!!

Can You Help Give a Cat a Second Chance?

We have many cats who desperately need one-on-one time to learn to trust and feel safe around people. Most of these cats come from the grain mill colony and may take some time to come out of their shells, but with patience and love, they have the potential to transform into wonderful companions.

If you have space in your heart and your home, you could make a life-changing difference for one of these cats. If needed, we can provide a cat enclosure and will also help out with food. A spare room in your house would be perfect to create a safe space for them to begin their journey of socialization.

These cats need someone special to give them the time and care they deserve. Do you have it in your heart to give one of them a chance?

🐾 Meet Penguin & Puffin – Two Miracles in Fur Coats 🐾

Some stories are heartbreaking; others are heartwarming. Penguin and Puffin’s story is both—and it’s one you can help rewrite.

These sweet sisters had a horrific start to life. Found dumped in a ditch in rural Victoria, they were left for dead with broken tails and shattered trust in humans. But they refused to give up, and neither did we. Over the past six months, their incredible foster carer has worked tirelessly to help them heal, learn to trust, and discover what it means to feel safe and loved.

Penguin and Puffin have come so far. Once too terrified to emerge except under the cover of darkness, they now sleep on their foster carer’s bed and cuddle up, purring softly as they finally let their guards down. These two are resilient, special, and oh-so-loving kitties who deserve a forever home as extraordinary as they are.

What They Need
Penguin and Puffin are looking for a calm, patient, and experienced adopter who understands the value of time and love. It’s possible they may retreat a little while adjusting to their new home, but with kindness and care, they’ll blossom all over again.

These bonded sisters must stay together—they’re each other’s rock and source of courage. Their ideal home will be one filled with warmth, understanding, and a soft spot (or two) for napping.

Why They’re Worth It
Penguin and Puffin’s journey from despair to hope is a testament to their incredible spirit. Adopting them isn’t just giving two cats a home—it’s giving them the life they’ve always deserved but never had.

If you’re ready to be the hero in this story, Penguin and Puffin are ready to fill your home with love, gratitude, and the quiet joy of knowing you’ve changed their world.

Age: 10 months
Adoption Fee: $300 (bonded pair)

Penguin and Puffin’s story has been one of survival and resilience. Now, it’s time for it to be one of love, security, and happiness. Will you be the one to give them their happy ending? 💕

🍖 Meet Dylan: Your New Best Friend in Food and Love! 🍖

Let’s cut to the chase: Dylan has been waiting for his forever home for almost a year now (cue sad violin music). But this isn’t just a sob story—this is a call to action! Dylan is not just a cat; he’s a lifestyle choice.

Who is Dylan?
Dylan is a 7.5kg package of purring love, food enthusiasm, and window-watching expertise. At 3 years and 3 months old, he’s hit his prime—old enough to be wise (he knows exactly where the treats are hidden) and young enough to keep life interesting (he will find the treats).

He’s the ultimate cuddle buddy, ready to steal your heart and maybe a corner of your plate if you’re not paying attention. Got dogs? No problem! Dylan is totally chill with canine companions, as long as they don’t try to claim his food bowl (seriously, don’t).

Why Adopt Dylan?
Because he’s basically the George Clooney of cats: suave, charming, and always up for a snack. He’ll be your best friend, your confidant, and your personal food critic. ("Dry kibble? Bold choice, human.")

And let’s be honest—your life could use a little extra fluff and a lot more love.
Keep in mind though he will be shy when he first comes to share your home, but once he has settled the true Dylan will show what he is like!

What Does Dylan Want?

A cozy spot by a window to watch the world go by.
A human (or two) to spoil him with love and snacks.
A household where his weight is monitored, but his appetite is appreciated.

Medical & Adoption Details
Dylan’s adoption fee is only $95—seriously, that’s less than your monthly coffee budget for a lifetime of love. His adoption includes transfer of his microchip fee.

Location: Eltham, VIC
Microchip Number: 956000013018804

Source Number: RE100602

Adopting Dylan means you’ll never eat alone again—and you’ll always have someone who appreciates your taste in food (and in cats). Don’t let Dylan wait another day to find his forever home.

🌟 Meet Asprouli – A Big-Hearted Boy Looking for His Forever Home! 🌟

About Asprouli
Asprouli (meaning “little white” in Greek) is a stunning 1-year-6-month-old kitty with a heart full of love and a personality to match. This handsome boy had a wonderful home for a year with a special mum who cooked for him daily. Unfortunately, Asprouli’s quick movements made him a high fall risk for his mum in her double-story house, and with many tears, she had to make the difficult decision to return him.

Asprouli is a confident and affectionate boy who loves attention—on his own terms. He’ll nudge you fiercely for pats and snuggle up in your bed for a cozy night’s sleep. While he adores love and affection, he also values his personal space, making him best suited to a home without children.

Asprouli gets along well with cats and dogs, though he likes to remind them who’s boss. He doesn’t bully his furry companions but enjoys having a bit of authority in the household.

Still a young boy with a lifetime ahead of him, Asprouli is simply looking for a warm bed and a loving family who will understand and cherish him. Could that be you?

Rescue is never easy, especially this time of the year.. this year has been even harder for us.
Last Friday we lost one of our own special fur babies, Jade.

Jade was my first foster fail way back in 2011 through Victorian Dog Rescue She had a tough start to life, finding herself in Mildura pound, and then developing cat flu. She had to have her sinuses drained more than once. I knew I couldnt let her go to anyone else so I decided to give her a forever home. Jade was a real mummys girl . She loved being beside me , and, would reply to me with little meows when I called her name and spoke to her. She ate her breakfast next to me, and was always not far away from me. She was such a gentle soul and never hissed or fought with any of the other cats that came to our house. She had a dental in Sept, and bloods were taken. Everything looked good.

I had noticed she was drinking a bit more but the weather was warming up and she had lost a little weight, but she was a senior so it is to be expected. I noticed she was sleeping more during the day, and not as chatty as she used to be. Last Fri morning she didnt want to eat her breakfast, and had put herself in a spot which was unusual. I went to pick her up and noticed her back legs were not really holding her up. Being concerned I took her into Maryborough Vets, and after tests were run it was found she was in renal failure. There was no cure, we had to let her go. She passed quickly, and I was devastated. My little Jadey Wadey was gone. The pain was not just emotional and physical, so bad in fact, I ended up in Maryborough Hospital on Fri night with chest pains.

This morning was another hard morning. It was Sheba's turn to go. We rescued Sheba off the kill list earlier in the year, and she was not in good condition when we took her in. In fact straight after coming off the transport we had to take her straight to the vets to be re-hydrated on the drip.
It was originally thought she was 6, but she was more like 16. She had thyroid issues, and medications did not fix her problem. It was thought that she possibly had a thyroid tumor, but she was not in good enough condition to have surgery. She also had kidney problems. We decided to keep her comfortable, give her everything she needed , and give her palliative care. This morning her time had come and we had to make the trip to the vets again , the second time in 4 days. Our hearts are broken yet again. Jade would have been waiting for her on the other side. To lose two of your fur babies in such quick such succession is so hard. Things happen in 3's.. hope there is not the 3rd one coming
(First two photos are Jade as a kitten and just before she left us) Third photo is Sheba
