I know I’ve been a bit quiet lately. Winter has been tough.

But today I went on a little excursion to meet my doctor Nico and my manicurist Dewald at Vetscape. They have poked and prodded me and taken some X-rays of my feet and legs.

Treatment has been some injections and an adjustment to my shoeing routine should have me feeling much better soon.

Have to say I feel rather special with all theses professionals fussing over me

Okay so I know I’m a good boy. Yes I happily stand and chomp away while I’m being clipped. Who needs Mom around to hold me. Nah not me! Mom you just sit back and relax.

But really folks it’s hot out there so I’m only to happy to have Aunty Nev take these damn winter PJs off. What a relief!

And if I do say so myself I look so sexy in my new haircut. ( Pictures will follow shortly).

Awesome day out at SDRC. I love coming here.

First class was clear in the A2. Good enough for 3rd.
Second class was even smoother but we had an early pole. Still must have been close to another place but not quite there.

Mom said I was her champ again. That always makes me smile. But even better is the chance for a hose down and a good roll in soft sand before going home for my supper. What a life.

Back to the show ring for me. First time this year and it was a good day out. We started off with a nice steady clear. Then in the team event we had a pole in each round. No places but it was good to be back and I felt good and confident.

So today I gave Luke a ride. I was on my best behavior so maybe he’ll come ride me again sometime.

I’ve been a bit quiet the last few days. My back was a bit sore but the nice Dr Nico helped me and I am feeling much better now. Hopefully my check up goes well tomorrow but in the meantime my pal and I still enjoy our regular drink at the pub.

Such a fun day at adult show jumping. First place on a lovely clear round in the 1m competition in 2 phases. Then just one pole down but a lovely round in the 1 m A2 speed class.

And finally the 1 m A2 competition. Finished 3rd on a clear round.
