When life gets tough and feel like giving up, we go back to the beginning to remind ourselves why we started in the first place. Thanks to Mabonwana primary school for including us on their school fun day. 209 learners managed to have a pony ride with our horses and the smiles and joy are priceless.

Today we were Moses Mnisi High School supporting the careers in conservation expo hosted by and The Timbavati Foundation bring 6 high schools together supported by local NGOs and reserves. What a successful and powerful event. Let's do it again next year

We treated our latests guests to a community trail, engaging with the locals,trying out some fatkoeks and chips. We really loving showing the cultural exchange that takes place when tourists visit and would like to encourage and call on anyone around sigagula,masingitana, kaZitha and Timbavati village that if you have any projects or experiences or products that our guests could engage with, our arms and hands are open. It's been long since our last post due to renovations and upgrading our services. Today Octopus visited Mugudi primary school which we hope will be one of our first primary schools to adopt going forward with weekly educational engagements and some fun. The pilot was such a succes and yes we don't charge the kids, but simply giving them what we never had.

It's funny how everytime we visit a school or kids come to us there are kids who are scared of every animal including the cute baby rabbits. But yesterday was such rewarding to see kids that cried first, ending up holding an animal and smiling saying "it's not that bad" "wow it's soft" " how much is this animal, can I take it home 😅". Thanks to Nourish greenkidz for choosing us for your team building and environmental education.

Time to give back to the community and to nature as we hosted our first SNAKE educational talk with the one and only Justin van Breda the guy who made understand more about snake, lose my fear and built my confidence to walk amongst them in the bush back in our varsity days in 2009 at TUT. Even today we trust him to empower our kids and community. There has been requests and complains from many that missed the lesson, so watch the space for more sessions and for other species as well
