Hennie Albert s Vet is a well established clinic, that has maintained a high standard of care. With friendly receptionists and kennel staff, caring vets and a loyal following of clients. Please phone to enquire before bringing in an exotic pet. We offer wing clipping for birds. We are happy to direct you to vets who specialise in exotics. The facilities include a reception area and waiting room, c

onsulting rooms, radiographic and theatre facilities and hospital kennels that have underfloor heating and high standards of cleaning maintained. There is a separate isolation area for contagious diseases as well as outdoor kennels for the day. Please note kenneling is for patients we do not offer boarding.

Don't regret not preventing these diseases.

By not vaccinating and ensuring your tick prevention is up to date your pets chances of succumbing to these diseases increases.

Unless you have an up to date VETERINARY signed card your pet may be at risk. A single vaccination is not adequate to provide protection.

A othaemotoma in the ear is the collection of blood that forms between the cartilage and skin of the ear flap and this is caused by trauma when flapping the ears and or head scratching and causes mainly from ear infections /skin allergies. We repair this by draining the blood or fluid through a small incusion and then reattaching the skin to the cartilage and bandaging it up after the procedure
