The Garlic debate !

🧄 Here are some ways garlic helps your dog:

✅ Helps prevent the formation of tumors (anti-tumor)
✅ Stimulates the lymphatic system to remove wastes
✅ Antibiotic, antifungal and antiparasitic
✅ Flea and tick repellant
✅ Helps build immunity to fight cancer

When fed fresh and in moderation, garlic is a healthy addition to your dog's diet.

Peel and chop fresh organic garlic and let it sit a few minutes to form allicin ... the active medicinal ingredient in garlic that gives it those antibiotic, anti-cancer, antiviral and antioxidant properties.

Feed the following amount per day, according to your dog’s weight:
5lbs: 1/6 tsp
10lbs: 1/3tsp
15 lbs: 1/2 tsp
20lbs: 2/3 tsp
30 lbs: 1 tsp

Like anything, use moderation and start slow.
⚠️ Some breeds like Akitas and Shiba Inus, pregnant and nursing dogs, puppies under 6 months, and dogs on some medications shouldn't have garlic.

⚠️ Duration of immunity lasts beyond 3 years, and AAMA (American Animal Hospital Association) confirms it.

But today's annual re-vaccination recommendations have never been officially updated from when they were set in 1978.

“This recommendation was made without any scientific validation of the need to booster immunity so frequently,” says Dr Ronald Schultz PhD.

Dr Schultz, a renowned veterinary immunologist, was one of three or four researchers looking at how long protection from veterinary vaccines actually last – usually for the lifetime of the dog -- and he did these studies over a 40 year period.

Dr Schultz’s work prompted the AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) and AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) to re-evaluate their vaccine schedules. And yet, as of 2017, nothing has changed ... and annual re-vaccinations continue.

So many vets are ignoring this research. If your vet is vaccinating your dog every year – or even every three years – he’s vaccinating too much! Your dog is already protected by vaccines he had as a young dog … and any additional vaccine will give him all of the risk with no benefit.

💉 Every vaccine has the potential to kill the patient or create debilitating chronic diseases including cancer and allergies. Some reactions include behavior changes, hives, weight loss, and seizures as well as adverse vaccine reactions, according to Dr Schultz, based on his research.
