Living the dream! Mozart QS with Charla-Beth Maritz on his very first beach ride and he smashed it!! Mozart, owned by Samantha Swarts, moved to PE a month ago and he knows he has found his forever home. Thank you for these lovely photos! That blue African sky is breathtakingly beautiful too...

Gauteng Carriage Driving held a Cone-a-thon driving event at Quantum Stud. This initiative was to give the drivers a feel of marathon phase in preparation for combined driving trails. Our 2 Quantum drivers competed. Well done to Ronald Mukudo who drove Capser and Tom (Wayne's Boerperd pony pair) and Jason La Loux who drove Federato QS (yes he also won his Working Equitation class last Sunday with Luan Forrester). Congratulations to all the competitors. The event was enjoyed by all and a big thank you to Christian De Jager (President of Gauteng Carriage Driving) for organizing this event and to all the judges and marshalls.

Quantum Stud hosted the Championship East Rand Working Equitation Series show held last Sunday. Thank you to my Quantum team for putting in all the hard work to make this show a great success and to Christelle Carstens and her team for running the East Rand Working Equitation Series. Their dedication in getting this discipline up and running is commendable with a definite growth in competitors and supporters. Working Equitation tests dressage principles and horsemanship but most of all, it is really great fun! Well done to all who competed.

The Working Equitation clinic with Jorge Morango Pereira recently held at Quantum Stud was a resounding success. Dressage is the foundation of this discipline and in these working equitation clinics Jorge focuses on the essential dressage principles and how to carry them through to the maneability phase. Jorge will be back early 2025. Please contact us if you are keen for some valuable lessons with Jorge.

Aragon van Quantum is proving to be quite an exciting dressage horse! He had another good outing scoring a 70 in one of his Novice tests. Chimone Zaayman can't sing his praises enough, especially with his lateral and canter work. Nicely ridden Chim!

Frits van Quantum (by Fetse 349 Sport out of Zegen van de Zonschate) showed his potential as a dressage horse at the recent Terrouge Equestre Dressage event scoring into the 70's for both his tests. Well ridden Luan Forrester!
