February is a short month this year but it has been hard, we now heading towards march but our food is not even going to last till the end of the month, we owe the vet R18k between the 2 of them we have wages ahead of us, rates, fuel, cleaning materials. Sadly we have only had 1 adoption this month which has also made our costs heavier. Please support us and don't let our rescues down.
Adopt an older dog will also help, volunteer on a weekend and bring along some food. We are really is a jam and need you help.

We jumping the gun and starting National volunteer month early, starting from the first weekend in March we looking for 10 people on a Saturday and Sunday to come in help feed the dogs and clean gardens. You will be allocated a small area to claim as Your job for the day.
All to be done on bookings. We ask that you come in old clothes, bring along you lunch and cooldrinks will be available. The camp allocated to you bring snack or tinned food and pamper your pets for the day. Anyone interested please call 0614233019. Your day will start at 9 and u can leave once done or by 2

This sweet little girl was found alone in a field one of our supporters found her and brought her to us
Very active playful girl who doesn't like to be left alone

She is absolutely adorable
She is around 7-8weeks old (Small - medium breed (

She must be a inside dog
No swimming pools

She is ready to find her new family

Good morning everyone we are in a hell of a pickle, we own 3 cars but all 3 are not running 2 need new starter motors and the bakkie needs a petrol pump, starters are between R900 and R1500 each and the petrol Pump for he bakkie is about R450. We now have no way to get to and from the vet, collect dog food or anything else. Please can anyone help us we really need at least one mobile

It is with great sadness we hare to inform everyone please if u have a sick dog go directly to the vets Do not bring it to us. I am tired of people showing up at the gate needing help and when a pup dies of parvo you run to the police claiming we stole your dog. Really we have more than enough we don't need more.

We assisted a man from the squatter camp with a parvo pup who sadly passed after all efforts were made to try and save it drips meds there is nothing we won't try to save a life. Now we had to face Sap and try and explain to the stupid man that the dog died we could not keep it remains till the owner decided to come back a week after the passing. So the pup was disposed of. Oh my word did this man give us hell. Well next time he must offer his freezer for storage. I have honestly had enough. The second pup in 6 months we have lost to parvo from the same owner first one didn't even last 20min with us it was so weak and neglected.....

Our washing day blues are much better after we had a twin tub donated to us. Also we totally forgot about the generous donation of washing powder we received in December so washing days are now happy days. Thanks Elsa and Dean for arranging the machine helps so much to save time and my hips from sitting for hours washing by hand. Much love
