In 2021 het ons Voorsitter Corlene van der Merwe (wat onlangs verwyder is deur Nspca) op 'n langnaweek 'n klagte ontvang oor 'n sleepwa vol donkies wat langs Schwims bande gestaan het vir 2 dae. Ons inspekteur was af en sy het 'n saak in haar persoonlike hoedanigheid van diere mishandeling oopgemaak. Die saak is herhaaldelik uitgestel en sy het baie dae by die hof gesit in haar eie persoonlike tyd om geregtigheid vir hierdie donkies te kry. Haar vasberadenheid het uiteindelik tot geregtigheid gely. Die eienaar is skuldig bevind aan diere mishandeling en n hewige straf opgele.

Goeie werk Corlene!!!
Dankie vir jou onbaatsugtige toewyding aan elke dier wat oor jou pad kom!

Nella het 'n groot bydrae gelewer om te verseker dat ons dierekinders 'n heerlike gekookte Kersete gaan geniet, elkeen 'n bal kry en sommer 'n lekker "treat" ook.
Sy daag die gemeenskap uit om ook elkeen 'n bydrae te maak om hierdie dag spesiaal te maak!
Komaan Oos-Vrystaat, hoe lyk dit!!

A Huge Shout out and Thank you to Juan-Pierre van Rhyn and Dwayne MacLeod and The Clarens Golf and Leisure Estate.

Dwayne currently living abroad came to visit his friend ( they have been best friends from school) this festive season and the deciced to play golf in Clarens.

After a fun day of Golf these two gentlemen decided to donate all the winnings to The Bethlehem SPCA which they did and paid off an amount on our Vet Bill.

Thank you gents for this and making a difference in animals lives.

With our busiest time ahead this means alot to us👏👏👏

We are truly grateful for this🐶🐕❤❤
