FIREWORKS. A WORD THAT SEND SHIVERS DOWN OUR SPINES :(

We take this VERY seriously and it's unacceptable for ANY animal to be traumatized during this time!

For us in welfare and MANY others it's a time of the year which we don't like to experience. Fireworks KILL. FIREWORKS CAUSES SO MUCH DAMAGE AND PAIN. They might look pretty to some BUT for the animals it's a terrible experience. What some might think is wow and pretty, to animals it is like being in a war zone and they are terrified of the sounds, the bangs and even of the 'cool' colours.

FIREWORKS ARE ILLEGAL!

The bylaw states that NO fireworks may be shot off without a permit, and no animals may be caused distress. Please report this and INSIST on action.

PLEASE KEEP YOUR PETS SAFE THIS SEASON AND REPORT FIREWORKS TO YOUR LOCAL POLICE STATION, AND SPEAK TO THE OFFICER ON DUTY.
