🐾 PUPPY ADOPTION PERFECT MATCH: COETZER FAMILY! 🐶

Exciting adoption news! The Coetzer family has welcomed a beautiful German Shepherd male puppy into their home, and it's a match made in heaven!

The magic began during a carefully planned meet and greet with their resident Ridgeback, ensuring a smooth introduction. We're thrilled to report that both dogs hit it off perfectly! The Coetzer sons instantly fell in love with their new furry family member, and their existing dog gave his stamp of approval.

Our favorite part? Watching the boys' excitement and seeing how a rescue puppy finds not just a home, but a family that adores him completely. This is what rescue is all about - connection, love, and new beginnings! 💕🐕

What an incredible day of love and kindness! Emma Visagie and Kayleigh Brits didn't just donate food and treats - they brought pure joy to our rescue animals.
These amazing volunteers spent an entire day:

Bringing much-needed food and treats
Showering our dogs with affection
Playing and cuddling with our furry friends
Lifting the spirits of animals waiting for their forever homes

Their compassion goes beyond a simple donation. Emma and Kayleigh gave our rescue animals something priceless - attention, love, and hope. The wagging tails and happy faces said it all!

Rescued and Recovering: Meet Bina!

Earlier this year, the Bloemfontein SPCA responded to a distressing complaint about a dog who had been burned with hot water by his owner. Thanks to a concerned community member, our team was able to rescue this male mixed breed and ensure he received the medical care he desperately needed.

Despite the cruelty he endured, Bina has shown incredible strength and resilience. He is now recovering well under our care, and his sweet, energetic, and loving nature continues to shine through.

Once Bina is fully healed, he will be looking for a forever home filled with love and kindness. If you're interested in giving Bina the second chance he deserves, keep an eye out for his adoption availability!

🚨 ANIMAL CRUELTY WILL NOT BE TOLERATED! 🚨

The Bloemfontein SPCA Inspectorate team responded to yet another heartbreaking case after receiving a desperate call from a dog owner seeking help.

After a severe thunderstorm, her beloved dog—frightened and disoriented—ran into a nearby property, seeking shelter in an empty shack. Shockingly, three women attacked the helpless animal, leaving it with multiple injuries, including a broken leg.

This kind of cruelty is unacceptable and will not go unpunished. Charges of animal cruelty under the Animals Protection Act 71 of 1962 have been laid against the individuals responsible.

Animals feel fear and pain just like we do. We urge the community to stand up against cruelty and report any cases of animal abuse immediately!

Tragic Incident: Cattle Hit by Train

The Bloemfontein SPCA Inspectorate team responded to a heartbreaking accident where cattle were struck by a train. Upon arrival, one cow had already succumbed to its injuries, while another was found suffering with a broken leg. To prevent further pain and distress, the necessary steps were taken to relieve its suffering.

We urge the public to contact their nearest SPCA for any animal in need of assistance. The Bloemfontein SPCA can be reached at 051 447 3801 or 078 322 8332 (after hours and emergencies).

Heartbreaking Yet Hopeful Rescue

The Bloemfontein SPCA recently responded to a shocking case of animal cruelty—a dog was stabbed by its owner. Thankfully, our team acted swiftly, and the dog was safely removed from the situation. It is now receiving the urgent medical care it needs and is on the road to recovery.

The suspect was arrested and charges of Animal Cruelty have been laid against him.

No animal deserves to suffer at the hands of those meant to protect them. We will continue to fight for justice and ensure this innocent soul gets a second chance at a loving home.

If you see animal cruelty, speak up! Report it to your local SPCA and be a voice for the voiceless.
