𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗴𝗴𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱 If you haven't been following Cola's mischievous escapades, you've missed out. From allegedly taking a toy duck in December to reportedly stealing treats last week and sending provocative selfies, Cola has been giving us the side-eye for some time. We suspected our Easter Eggs were at risk, but today we were surprised to find Cola in our practice, attempting to pull off a solo heist. Thanks to the swift action of police officers Canna and Van Rooyen, Cola was apprehended before she could escape. Unfortunately, officer Van Rooyen suffered serious bite wounds during the arrest - he is currently receiving treatment and thank him for his swift actions today. A movement called #freecola has gained traction, with many people sympathizing with Cola's actions. Bail has been set at 100 boxes of Easter eggs or their cash equivalent. Until Cola meets this requirement, she will remain in custody. We remain committed to our Easter Eggs Charity project and hope our community will continue to support us. 𝗔 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗘 𝟲 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗧𝗪𝗘𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗦 Dr Ross managed a mini Rottweiler steri day today, as an extra challenge Friend of the Rottweiler Rescue & Re-home South Africa brought us extra deep chested dogs. For good measure Dr Ross performed routine gastropexy on all the dogs to prevent GDV (torsion / bloat). For all those who support SAINTs Animal Charity this is where your Rottie funds go! Originating from East and Central Africa (Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya), this breed was first domesticated thousands of years ago. In South Africa, they were introduced through President Ramaphosa's 2004 project importing Ankole cattle from Uganda. Watch as Dr. Bull expertly separates two bulls to treat one for corneal ulcers - a painful condition that requires precision and care. It’s important to note that the animals were not whipped. Veterinarians like Dr. Bull show that their profession requires bravery, compassion, and expertise to care for these majestic creatures.
