Meet the Ankole-Watusi, a remarkable breed of cattle known for their impressive horns and strong herding instincts!
Originating from East and Central Africa (Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya), this breed was first domesticated thousands of years ago. In South Africa, they were introduced through President Ramaphosa's 2004 project importing Ankole cattle from Uganda.
Watch as Dr. Bull expertly separates two bulls to treat one for corneal ulcers - a painful condition that requires precision and care.
Itโs important to note that the animals were not whipped.
Veterinarians like Dr. Bull show that their profession requires bravery, compassion, and expertise to care for these majestic creatures.

This ensured the eggs reached the people in need.

2024 Charity Drive was a true challenge.
We are so thankful to our community, friends and โfamilyโ who rose to this challenge.
This year was our slowest collection and just over 2 weeks ago we had not even reached 1000 eggs.
The goal of 3,000 seemed impossible.
Despite having the slowest and lowest amount donated, we had the highest number of individuals arrive with boxes.
Kindness soon spread especially amongst the younger generation, and when we found ourselves in trouble โfamilyโ seemed to appear.
The support of our amazing community was outstanding, we are so thankful to those companies, schools and individuals.
