What an adventure we have been on this month! Getting the call that one of my cats qualified for COTY 2024, was a dream come true! But when we were told that a second cat was also invited, the excitement was just too much to bear!
The Ethereal Sphynx family would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to Swinex Sphynx for taking such amazing care of us and our kitties while we were in the fairest Cape these past few days. You not only made us feel right at home, but you sacrificed sleep to ensure that we arrived safely, helped calm the nerves and spoiled us rotten! Of course, my COTY dream would not even have been a reality if it was not for the stunning little 4-footed piece of my heart that you bred for me!
Thank you to all of the people behind the scenes who made this event happen, the judges and organizers, sponsors and the beautiful Radisson blue venue. You all came together to make this a fairytale event for so many of us!
We are home safe and sound and sorting through all of the lovely little good luck charms that we were gifted - it is so lovely to see the adoration for each and every cat and we were humbled to be part of such a beautiful event!
Lastly, a big congratulations to all of the qualifiers, the winners and of course our dear friend Lilani with her stunning LuPita for taking the title of cat of the year 2024!

What an amazing day!!! COTY 2024 is all wrapped up and we go home not only with our amazing qualifier rosettes, but also with these amazing certificates. Both Zefira and Orion did so well!
I am one very proud cat mommy tonight!

Today is a truly momentous day for my little cattery! And we just got the best news ever!
My little heart-and-soul-cat, Orion has been doing amazingly well on shows this year. And so, I just got the call to notify me that he has qualified to go to COTY in Cape Town next month! Not only that, but daddy's little marshmallow, Zefira is also going along! I am over the moon with excitement and cannot wait to experience a SACC Cat of the Year event for myself!!!
Thank you to everyone who encouraged us along the way, in the good times, the bad times, and everything in-between.
Cape Town, we will see you soon...

This is Helene. She is still looking for her perfect home and will be ready to leave the nest in 2 more weeks.

If you are looking for a little skinfant to call your own, she may just be the little girl for you! She is a real softie and loves to cuddle, so would need a home where she will be coddled like the naughty little princess she is.

The nudists are doing what they do best! Finding the hot spots to nap in. Winter is coming, but we have a brand new family-sized floofbed from Wolfpack. Judging by the amount of time these guys spend in here, it is a hit for sure!

My beautiful babies are 7 weeks old! How time flies when you are having fun. This is Helene and Elain Eleanor London. Helene is available for booking and will be ready to go to her new home in just a few more weeks.
But until then, they are learning how to be the best little cats they can be!

It seems that if they can't hack your profile, they clone it. Please do not accept any friend requests from a profile claiming to be me, Santie Meyer or my cattery. If I do send a request, it will be followed by a message as always! The cloned profile currently has a weird blue ring around the profile photo, but does use photos of my cats and looks just like mine.
Feel free to report it if it contacts you, as the moment someone accepts, it will have access to mutuals who will accept and snow ball the problem.

I will report them to Facebook and see if they will do anything about it.

I finally got around to having some photos taken of my little hairless darlings! You can expect to see a lot more of them in the future, but I just had to share this shot of my heart and soul, Orion. He is such a charmer and I absolutely love this kitty with my whole heart. As it is a lovely, cool, rainy day, remember to keep warm spaces available for your Sphynxies! If it is cold enough to be uncomfortable for you without clothes on, it is cold enough for them to be unhappy too. Plus it gives you more excuses to cuddle with your cuties!

This past weekend, our little Zefira had her first show as an adult! She did great during her kitten show season and ended up making it all the way to the gold and ruby show at the end of the year. But this little lady surprised us and brought home two beautiful rosettes this weekend, as well as a new title of Champion! Zefira took best foreign adult as well as best short hair adult. But this little lady decided to turn on that well-known charm that wraps daddy around her finger and ended up kissing her way into a judges heart. Of course we cannot forget her brother Orion, who now has the title of Grand Champion and also achieved second foreign neuter.
I am a very proud mama with such beautiful kids in my life!

Last week we were blessed with the birth of five beautiful, healthy kittens! It has been quite an adjustment these past few days as we settled into life with a bunch of newborns in the house. All of the babies and mama Selena are doing an amazing job at growing and nursing and our days are filled with happy little purrs and suckles.

This past weekend at the CFC show, my beautiful little Orion made his mommy very proud! He placed best in ring for foreign neuters, as well as best in ring for short hairs! He brought home some wonderful munchies to share with his brother and sisters as well.

After a long, exciting weekend of cat shows I am now the proud mommy of a show prize winner! My beautiful Morax made me the proudest cat mama in the whole wide world today when he won best in his ring at the AICA show at the Pet Expo.

The babies had a great show day this weekend and were on their very best behavior! The cold is creeping up on us, so a little bit of body heat and all the blankets were needed to keep the naked bums from shivering. Our second kitty show is done and dusted and we are looking forward to the next one in May.
