BISMARCK AND GRAN: Bismarck came to SRSA as an abused giant schnauzer and did not trust people at all, Julia from our Cape Town team never gave up on him, it has taken a few years and a lots of hard work to get him so big loveable and goofy. OLD DOGS: Old man Scoobster running on the beach with Superschnauzer Perci, he is enjoying his first holiday as part of the Schnitzinger gang and boy does he love the beach. SALLY GIRL: Yesterday was a busy day, little Sally went in to see Dr Ross at Craig View Veterinary Clinic so we could determine if her mammary tumours were malignant or not, we were also not sure if she was sterried as she did have stitches that we could feel🥰🐾❤️ After the tests were completed it was a combination of good and bad news, the tumours were malignant but the cancer luckily was contained within the tumours and did not spread to the lymph nodes or lungs❤️🐾🥰 We made the decision right there and then to have the operation done as she also had an ingrown grown dewclaw that had to be removed🥰🐾❤️ To say the least it was a massive operation on such a tiny little body but had to be done❤️🐾🥰 The tumours were successfully removed as well as the dewclaw and she was restitched on the previous sterrie wound as when she was opened up a hernia was noticed and it was determined that she was sterilised previously🥰🐾❤️ We went to visit her in the afternoon and told her that her big einas are now over and that she would have to wear sunglasses to see her future❤️🐾🥰🤣 She will still be in hospital for the next two days or so🥰🐾❤️ If you would like to gift us a Christmas miracle by contributing to her vetbill, it would be so much appreciated this kind of care would never be possible without our massive caring schnauzer loving community❤️🐾🥰 Schnauzer Rescue South Africa FNB 62818721509 250655 Ref:Sally Rescue dogs rock🥰🐾💕 SRSA will never ever turn any schnauzer in need away!💕🐾 www.schnauzerrescuesouthafrica.co.za #schnauzerrescuesouthafrica #truerescue #woodrockanimalrescue #schnauzer #rescuedog Instagram - Schnauzerrescuesouthafri
