Day by the dam with these cuties🐾🐾🐾
I’ve heard a lot misconceptions about Rhodesian Ridgebacks, that they don’t like water. I think owners of those just couldn’t find the way to make it fun for the dog.
All my dogs swim. We start introducing them to water early, when they are puppies.
Over the years I’ve had only one ridgeback Django who didn’t want to come near water for a long time. Until he saw an Egyptian goose in the dam.
He swims for hours now chasing birds in the dam.
